A good example why pilots are pilots. It doesn't matter how complex and stressful a situation, they always stay calm.. Have to! Are selected by that criteria. Great job of this guy staying soo cool.

Great video!Every summer I head to Morocco ( As most of my family lives there ) And I love the flight more than anything, planes are so cool to me. I'll be taking a RAM to Casablanca from nyc, in a 787-8 Dreamliner . Then a smaller 737-400 or 300( Idk honestly) to Tangier. (Another city in Morocco)
That stinks... I had to wait over 10 hours in Phoenix airport to wait for my flight to Honolulu... We got at the airport at around 11 in the morning and left Phoenix at around 9 at night. Got there at about 3 in the morning. We waisted our whole day in Hawaii!😒
Flew le RAM one time from JFK to Agadir and return. All went well on the outbound, but the return was a nightmare! Got stuck 12 hours in Casablanca. Never again with this airlines. They were nice, but NOTHING was done for the passengers

if they just tell you you need to go back at 4 am and its 12 am, there is no point in actually going to the hotel and try to salvage some sleep in the airport.
The cancelled flight doesn't have anything done with Royal Air maroc, it is in fact the fault of Paris ATC, like pbateson said. Some people blame RAM but it is not their fault.
I had to sleep in Toronto Airport once because my AA flight to JFK got cancelled due to weather. Luckily, the first flight of the next day was not full and I went on that instead. Worst night sleep of my life!
To be honest I have always had great reviews going to morocco. I have never ever been delayed and they never lose my suitcase. (I go there every 2 months)
SamyTravels - Don t fly with them..the French are an irresponsible people, theirs is a huge country in the middle of Europe, they regurlarly go on strikes,creating many problems for air trafic air cargo and passengers..the same with their rail system....unfortunately the Germans have become the same..when you have two huge hubs..Frankfurt and Paris CDG..and two giant carriers AF and LH..and you put into system to strike and behave like a little child whenever you don t get your goodies..you create many problems for people whos destinations aren t either CDG nor FRA..flight corridors blocked,chaos on the Ground, flights delayed and/or cancelled outside of their airspace..passengers who suffer..this in this day and age is irresponsible in my opinion.
You have just to fly with another company and it will be better..it's ordinary to have problems during traveling so i think DESASTER is not the good word..but finally it's a good video

Such situation is indeed unpleasant, tiring, somehow uncertain about what to come but for air travellers has to be expected because it's not rare to happen. About the overnight details you have faced I definitely had stayed at the airport avoiding all that stress and the lack of time to rest on a bed... My longest airport stay ever was in Miami waiting for a plane (Aerolineas Argentinas) coming from Montreal to Buenos Aires... I arrived at the airport smart and fresh at 16:00 and boarded a Pan Am flight instead at 23:00 next day... sweat and stinking (Lol). Now is part of my funny memories! Take care Samy...

And when the passengers got angry, probably no RAM-representative..mediocre carriers always show themselves...had it been Lufthansa or Qatar they would have informed and fed the waiting passengers...this the behaviour of indifferent carriers..
SamyTravels - Thats the hallmark of a bad airline..Bangladesh Biman and Air India and sometimes Gulf air does the same..their representatives vanish,people are left for hours waiting with no refreshments and no information, let alone any food so teh airline wouldn t have expenses,..had this been an A class carrier they would have rebooked the pax or offered hotel and meals..immediately..
Morocco Airline always bad communications with people and bad services and always there is delays....delays....delays. I feel really bad for other people coming from different cities to New Yrok and stays at JFK for not hours but days. Shame on RAM. You should improve your self and services and your staffs too.
Sami Foudail Not too sure about that , but as Samy highlighted this had clearly and exclusively to do with ATC strike in Paris. Many other carriers suffered severely because of this incl. KLM, AF etc. RAM is not to blame here , on the delay part that is.
