Ricky, you’re one stroke behind Gannon. Get your win, and finish out this year strong.
The good thing about watching these practice rounds is you feel like you’ve played a round without taking any terrible shots whilst you’re toasty in bed and not cold outside
@Ricky "Sockibomb" Wysocki Dude, your practice rounds are the best period, the way you explain everything is so clear and easy to follow.. Not to mention One of the best players in the world.. thank you for sharing your knowledge.. WIN THIS DUDE!! You got it!!
“Hyzer flip felon” is not something I thought I’d ever hear
exactly😂
He also says it's too understable lol .
I bag a Felon that is very flippy and I can easily turn over even on a forehand.
I thought the same, my Felon is so beefy, I can barley throw it
Same. Reminds me of one year in MVP doubleG was on lead card and threw a firebird on hole 16 lazer straight 530feet downhill. My mind exploded.
Man, what a final round. Was pulling for you. It's no consolation, I know, but you played a heck of a tour Ricki. Huge fan.
ricky, you're making it happen like a true champion...incredible...good luck on the final round...!
You sir, are a putting machine!! Loved the videos all year. Good luck brother 👊
Great tour life interview yesterday Rick!
This series have been really enjoyable, thanks for sharing your game with us. Best of luck on the weekend!
These videos help my game so much. Much love Rick, good luck this weekend.
That’s exactly what they are for!
Hey Rick, you are a great instructor! You have so many great tips and tricks for success of the course. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and few crazy skips.
THIS!!! is what discgolf should look like!!!!!!!!
Really enjoyed these practice rounds. Great work- will be back if you decide to run it back next year!
Great videos this year. Hope you'll do this same type of series next year. Good luck and have fun man, I'll be rooting for ya. :)
Ricky is the goat
Hey Ricky. In the front nine video, you asked about possibly playing/rating courses from fan suggestions. There's a course just outside New Orleans. on the west bank, called Parc Des Familles Disc Golf Course. It's built out in the marsh area with lots of vegetation and cypress trees everywhere. I'm 55 and got the disc golf bug less than 2 years ago. I've become pretty familiar with a lot of the courses you guys play on tour and really think this course could, at minimum, host an A tier tournament. It'd be pretty awesome to see you make a video there. 1 local tip if you ever make it...bring a full can of bug spray depending on what time of year it is. The mosquitos can get quite aggressive😡. Big fan...
The Kid got ya … but he’s a kid, got no fears in ‘im, yet. Next year his hormones will change. He’ll start thinkin’ more. You played an excellent season! I hope you find a martial arts style that suits you and you practice every day. Thanks for the lessons you gave throughout your course previews this year! Peace my friend
Great video !!!
Where you goin Rick? We all waiting for the announcement homie! Good luck. Excited for you.
you are the best!
i’m gonna miss these. until next time big dog
once you go orange you'll never go back! my entire bag.
Faylor lake in Beaver Springs PA next year.
lets go raptor legs rooting for you good luck ricky you da man
I love how he talks about these holes playing 430 vs 400 as if we have that kind of distance control. Brother I can barely get 300… those distances don’t even make sense in my mind
Was hoping for another Smooth Criminal this season. There's always next year B)
Question: You have any discs in your bag that you had when you were with Latitude?
Can u make a video about some putting techniques u use?
Stupid question---since you are way too powerful to throw that downhill 333' hole, could you standstill for your tee shot???
Only Ricky would call a Felon and hyzer flip disc lol
Yo Rick, how come the sidearm drives have been swapped for understable flat released- and/or stable anhyzer released backhands?
Hoping it’s not the last one!
"It's only Monday, I got a couple more days to get that dialed in."
??? How many times do these guys play a course before a tournament?? Do they all do this?? How do you deal with all the rec players playing through, or do they shut down a course a week prior while the pros are practicing??
Typically courses on the pro tour get locked down on Tuesday, with only players for that tournament allowed. Pros often play a course twice daily in the 2-3 days leading up to a tournament, though sometimes they arrive late, are dealing with other commitments or injuries, so they might play less practice rounds leading up to an event.
Usuallly when the tour is in town. It’s only open to tour card holders I believe!
@RickySockibombWysocki I gotta admit, that is pretty sweet. I just started playing this year. I hope to start some MA4 events by next year, an I'll tell ya, if I have a local tournament coming up, I'm gonna practice that specific course not 2 or 3 times bit like 4 or 5 times every single day. I mean, if that is allowed, why would you ever even leave the course. Almost seems unfair, like whoever spends more time practicing and studying the course would have a far better chance to win.
420 up hill
lol, hole 3 on the normal layout every time. That should be about 20 fot....rolls 50 feet down the hill...every time
@3:18 isn't there a disc for that?
IMO you should be able to throw a full shot on every shot with the right bag
