As a person who is born and raised in Plymouth I'm going to have to say that this vlog is a fair assessment of the city centre and water front. If anyone is visiting Plymouth, go to the Barbican, find Captain Jasper's and have a cuppa.
Oh my gosh, so many memories. I lived in Plymouth for a year through my recovery. It has such a fond place in my heart. Plymouth is beautiful & you captured it as such ✨👍🏻
I've been living in Plymouth and is a lovely place , the English people were great and very friendly and respectful and funny I love every bit of Plymouth , 🇬🇧❤🇬🇧👍 Lots of love from Greece 🇬🇧🇬🇷❤👍
Lived in Plymouth my entire life, close to the moors. Just started my first year at the uni and honestly love it. Plymouth is so full of character and history and in the summer it’s incredible. I’d struggle to live elsewhere.
Mate, I really enjoyed this vlog from yours. I used to study in Plymouth for a semester abroad and watching this brings back so many memories. Thank you for making this.
This episode has come in at the perfect time as I'm heading to the UK next week and will also be based in Plymouth for over a week. Absolutely loved your travels through Asia, and even followed in your footsteps in Malaysia.
i am descended from William Brewster as well as several others on the mayflower. it has always been my dream to go to England because even though i was not born there i love her dearly and feel she is my true home. i have decided to go to her in 2020 to commemorate my ancestors journey from Plymouth 400 yrs. ago. they may have left her but in my blood i never did.
Thank you so much for this video! I saw pictures of my nation in Plymouth University, and was surprised and amazed at the same time, Plymouth is wonderful 😍😍😍😍
Mate I am going there in March, it has been since 2016 since my last visit. Nearly cried with the video/ memories. I cannot wait to pay a visit soon. Thanks for sharing this. I Know it's an old one but still, this city is in my heart.
Oh gosh! I'm so into your British accent. As an English student at the college, itu really helps my English listening skill a lot. I watch it without seeing the subtitle. Keep it up pal.
Father's side of the family lived in Weston Mill, Northumberland Street - I'd come up with the family and stay over for a week or two over the summer, or spend a week at the caravan site at Stoke beach from about 1975 up to 1994
Hi! I'm from India, looking for marine biology or psychology courses in the UK Would you honestly recommend Plymouth? An objective opinion would be nice! Or do you have any other recommendations?
i love this place so much, i went in 2018 for a national championship event and have been determined to go to the uni and move there after college since
So annoying you caught the bad weather. A couple of days before it was roasting and looking amazing out on the Hoe. Keep up the good work! From an old friend

Great video bro and this brings back a lot of memories for me. I am from Malaysia and was a student at the Plymouth Polytechnic then ( now its a University, I believe), in 1979 and was there for around 3 yrs. Loved the place and the friendly people there. Missed the fish and chips.
I was born in 1979 (in Plymouth) and have lived here for all of my 43 years. Plymouth in the 1980's was incredible, I have such fond memories. I'd love to know if you have any pictures of your time here in the early 80's.

Hi, lovely video. Thanks. Let me add something about Francis Drake, as he was the second person circumnavigating the world in a single expedition. The first one was Ferdinand Magellan, portuguese.
Thanks for this, just what I needed as I've applied to study medicine at Plymouth but didn't get the chance to properly look around as it is so far from where I live. Great video :))
Nice to hear you enjoyed your time in my home city. ps... I thought the Lewinksky building was named after the world famous painter on the barbican 😂 shows how much notice I took of the name.
Hey, Jason am Sal and I've been watching your videos for 6 months now. Your blogs on "Bangladesh" is my favorite I liked all of them, very beautiful, my parents are from there! What is shocking is your in Plymouth and I live 5 blocks away from the University. Your destination was Asia now your in Devon, in my city :-0 very shocking and you studied here so you do look recognizable we probably met in Uni you might not remember. If your around in Plymouth I can show you fantastic views of the whole entire Plymouth and I am not talking about the light house....oh no There's this place here where you can see everything of Plymouth from the top biggest hill ever and I mean big, it's like your going to touch the sky at any minute :-). I lived in plymouth for about 2 years when I was 10-12 years old.. My dad also studied at the university.. Really really miss the city.. Sad can't afford to go there again.. Only in my sleep 😅.. Hopefully someday
Disappointing review for me. I'm not local but have worked in Plymouth and it's steeped in history and geographical features - Tamar river (world heritage), historical naval dock and associated buildings which are beautiful. Drakes Island and the Hoe are UK landmarks. Perhaps local redevelopment has meant it's lost it's charm and character and the architecture of the university does nothing for me - no doubt it will have been demolished and redeveloped in another 50 years - it does nothing to enhance the city, sorry. I disagree with some of the negative comments below though, but felt this video did not do Plymouth justice as a place to visit, there's so much more - particularly as a boating and sailing centre. Being sponsored by the University some drone footage would have been desirable and would have made the video far more interesting and insightful.
