Hi Privateer 👋 I'm currently looking into a season on a mini twin in the UK. I prefer to build the vehicles myself so I know how to fix them. Been racing hatches for a few years so know my way round the sport to some degree. Your telemetry is amazing. What's it called? Is it easily hide-able for track days where they won't allow timing?
I really want to and am costing it up. I think the best route is just buying a minitwin that has all the bits and spares. From looking at my times I'm about bottom of the mid pack on the minitwin races so hopefully won't be left for dead. Any advice I see you are a racer??
@@ThePrivateerBiker My advice is do whatever you can to get yourself on the grid WHEN you can. You will never look back and regret it. It's addictive and the best thing i've ever done.
Cheap good fun racing is the Ducati Desmodue series. 583cc and 620cc supersports and monsters. You are lapping Cadwell at race pace with the same ish BHP.

@@0x7FFFFFFFFFFF I sold that blue SV and bought a race ready Red one. I had my first ever race at Donington a few weeks ago and came 6th in the first race, in the wet too. I didn't film anything because I didn't want any more pressure and had a million other things to think about on the day. But I'm racing at Cadwell hopefully on July 1st so will stick some camera's on now. I feel like I've progressed a bunch from having that competitive element of a real race, and following better riders. I'll put the video on this channel.

If you can download one of those trackday timer apps for your phone they're great for analysing your progress and seeing your improvements and where you can make up time. Film it so we can watch!

The sv650 is a very rounded package nice work
that last lap was great. i thought the bikes would catch up on the straights but your gains from the turns kept them away.

Great riding but a 360 camera is not the best way to translate the experience to the viewer
I replaced my sv650s with a xb12R that I love but let me be the first to tell you. I should have never sold the sv!

Just a regular street tire like a 2CT, nothing for the track

Just a new rear shock, standard shock is rubbish for track use
Little too much bike for the 1199 rider.
