      @@stefanisilva2493
Each flaw is a test upon the person who has a "flaw" and the people around. For extreme cases of mental illnesses you will have to ask a scholar why God made them like that
If God wants to make himself known by emphasising his power over people, he isn't necessarily arrogant (abductive reasoning doesn't work with God, theres always a specific reason found in scripture to why God allows evil, why he created us etc)
The only thing proven by God making his power known over people is that he has a reason for it. If it is because he is dependant upon our affection, he is dependant and therefore not God. The reason he does is in most cases as a mercy to you. So you worship him. He loses nor gains anything by worship, it is a one sided deal where you get heaven in return for max 30 mins a day. This is the reason behind why he would show his power: all for us to find salvation. This reason shows he is independant and we are the only ones profiting. (Not talking about people with birth defects just generally)
      Hope that helped :0

      @stefanisilva2493 ปีที่แล้ว

@@vibingoose6827 - " each flaw is a test upon a person" : thus another imperfection arises, since is not fair to give people different duties. And the "but people have different stregh levels" doesn't explain it because, again, God was the one that created folks with different "strengh" levels to beggin.
Another point: animals suffer and yet they are not "tested" like humans in ocidental religions.
      - There's no logical compatibility in allowing evil and being mercyfull. In wich circunstance would you allow a child to burn in fire instead of saving them? Specially talking about an omnipotent creature to whom there are no bareers.
Scriptures actually have a circular argument for why God allows evil, and that argument pretty much includes God's pride.

    • @D3nchanter
      @D3nchanter ปีที่แล้ว

1min in, its nothing to do with evidence whatsoever. I dismiss this entire line of thought. Its all about the human attributes given to a deity, which match up to a deity being man made (of course they'd give it human characteristics, its all they knew of). this isn't evidence against, just that it falls in line with the idea that if there was no god, this would still be true.
      2:30
about creation. he starts by begging the question (a fallacy), insisting that creating from something, or nothing involves a WHO. there's no need to ask if there's a who. you want to find out who OR what, got the universe here (even using the word creation smuggles in the idea that religious people look for).
      2:49
finding the ferrari in your garage. we know ferraris are made by people, we have LOADS of evidence of this.
what if you had evidence of nature forming ferraris too? the same level we have of people making them.
then how would you know where the ferrari came from? simple, you'd have to look at the evidence for each and find out which matches.
in this example it fails in multiple ways. we have NO evidence of universes or life being created, nor do we even have other universes to compare ours to to know if it was a created or natural universe (analogous to the natural or manmade ferrari).
this is a very common, and frankly very stupid argument that theists use because they have absolutely no idea what they're talking about. shit like this has been trashed millions of times in the usa even by republicans in court. no one of sound mind here takes this argument seriously. there's even an abbreviation for it PRATT (points refuted a thousand times)
Strange Love - Today at 10:41 AM
last point is about the universe out of nothing. this has NEVER been proposed out of philosophical (or absolute) nothing.
when science says something like... "a universe from nothing" they very VERY carefully define nothing, as a volume of spacetime that contains no matter at X temperature, etc.
he then goes on to talk about god not being time bound.. but then that means it cannot act. things that are without time, cannot change, and thus are frozen in inaction.
he's basically describing a god that cannot do anything
all of this in 3 minutes, in the first video alone
these are terrible arguments that i don't even consider worth my time, or yours.

So beautifully and rationally explained, well done to the whole team at towards eternity. The atheist lad had seems to find the problem of human suffering as a reason for Allah`s non existence and "imperfection". Yet for us, human suffering reinforces and grows our faith and trust in God. What is the point of Allah being Merciful, Forgiving, Bestower, The Sustainer etc etc if there are no sentient beings like us who ask of Him when we are suffering or see others suffering. We are the opposite image of some of Allah`s names and attributes and that is why we call upon the One who relieves us of our pain. He has a plan for us all, in His wisdom he may grant our prayer here in this world or reward us with better in the world hereafter. We do not know what His plan for us is but we have complete trust in Him, this is the essence of our faith. For our tears of pain and our heart felt pleas to Him draw us ever closer to Him. I realise this in my own life and my tears alhamdullilah only draw me closer to Him. The people with the most suffering and pain were the prophets of Allah, let them be an example and inspiration to us all.

      @jonatand2045 ปีที่แล้ว

All having attributes like merciful and bestower have no more reason to be than the opposite. Same with his preference for creating things that experience those attributes. He also is supposed to have the power to always grant reward, so he could just do that. The theology breaks down when the logic is analyzed.

Islamic New Year is BETTER than Gregorian New Year
    Because:
1Muharram Earth Starts Its Orbit and the Hilal in the Sky and Earth’s Position to the Sun at the Closest Distance (Perihelion)
    With Proof of Calculation:
If calculated according to the Hijrah year or Lunar Year, it turns out that the Earth starts its orbit from the perihelion point on the 1st of Muharram, then moves 345 degrees around the Sun, which is 15º before reaching a full 360º circle.
After 24 years, the Earth is back at its starting position, which is 360º - 345º equals 15º x 24 years = 360º.
At that time every star in the sky was back at a certain position along with its position at a certain time 24 years ago, and the Earth was also back at the perihelion point where its orbit began.
    While the New Year AD:
January 1st does NOT start with the new moon, nor does it start when the Earth is closest distance to the Sun
With Proof of Calculation as Follows:
So according to the seasonal year or Solar Year, the Earth moves around the Sun as far as 355º12′, namely 4º48′ before reaching the full circle point, up to 360º - 355º12″ = 4º48′ if multiplied by 75 season years it becomes 360º then Earth is in first position as the beginning of the year .
At that time the stars in the sky may be back at a certain position at the same time as 75 years ago, because the Earth itself is not at the perihelion point of its original orbit.
Although such a season calendar is expressly forbidden by ALLAH,
but until now it still applies among people who claim to be Muslim, even though they are not in the new moons at the HILAL and not doing new years at the Perihelion.
Often they are in the new moon when the Moon in the sky looks full Moon or has begun to shrink and in the Qur’an, it is said to ENTER THE HOUSE FROM BACK.
For details, consider the meaning of God’s Word:
2/189. They ask you about the Hilal, say: “I is dettermination
time for humans and Hajj, and it’s no good that you COMING HOUSE FROM BEHIND it, but the good is who realizes. Enter the houses from their doors. Realized to ALLAH, hopefully you win.

I am an agnostic, yet I search for and find peace and joy in so many things almost every day. I know both believers and non-believers who have found their aims and their joys in life. If we look at the course of the world we live in, indeed most of us will at a certain point acknowledge how many things can be outside of our control. Yet, there is a lot we can do. @@amiratazkia I think considering our limited subjective mind and senses, there is always a basic uncertainty. Especially when it comes to something so all-encompassing and transcendental as God and the afterlife, which themselves cannot be proven by the scientific verification process of hypothesis and demonstration. But from my point of view, that uncertainty in these questions is an additional reason to practice tolerance about beliefs and it is a reason to hope. I am pleading that notions in terms of belief should not be labeled as definitely wrong or right. As long as you do not harm somebody due to thinking a certain way or make somebody else harm someone (which is both relative of course, but perceptible), there is in my eyes no reason not to let everyone believe freely and tolerate them for they act in practical tolerance of others.
To me that's what matters most in these terms. Personally I also advocate for not claiming the own beliefs to be the ultimately known truth, which means to practice also ideational tolerance. But it's ok not to do so.
Technically, it is ok if you are convinced of being right with your own belief concerning God and think someone else isn't. The team of Towards eternity shows us an example of this. They publish peaceful and argument-based discussions. Regardless of my own religious notions, I support this way of treating people accurately with benevolence. This is what it should be like.
As far as I can see, there are so many possibilities in these topics we can't claim to have certainty about them. But the more we discuss constructively and explore it, the more probable it is to come to conclusions that might be true in the end. In my eyes, it's a discovery, not a question of right and wrong.
I wonder, what makes you believe we can be certain about Allah and His message?

    Alhamdulillah we are Muslims.
"We (God) will show them Our signs in the horizons and within themselves until it becomes clear to them that it is the truth." Quran 41:53
God calls on us to acknowledge Him through His signs and has made it our responsibility to ponder and reflect in order to recognise Him. Some people are receptive to these signs and see God's work all around them, while others dismiss everything as random and meaningless. God has placed in every person, a natural inclination to believe, but this innate predisposition to believe can either be nurtured or suppressed.
Importantly, God guides people who are sincere and willing to receive guidance. In other words, those who do not want to believe in God will not be guided. God says, "God guides to Himself whoever turns to Him." Quran 13:27
This requires objectivity and an unbiased attitude to the possibility of God's existence, which can be quite confronting and humbling for some people, but without this genuine openness and willingness, no amount of information can make someone believe. In fact, God warns us that those who approach His signs from a position of pride and arrogance will only find justification for their disbelief.
Therefore, we hope that those who are sincere, open minded and genuinely seeking the truth can benefit from this information and that it helps present a new perspective to understanding God.
It is also important to note that due to the significant differences between Islam and Christianity, many criticisms of Christianity simply do not apply to Islam.
    Reasons To Believe
The following one rational reason for believing in a creator.
    *Beginning of the Universe
The first evidence that points to the existence of a Creator relates to understanding the origin of the universe. Imagine walking in a desert and finding a watch. We know a watch consists of glass, plastic and metal. Glass comes from sand, plastic from oil, and metal extracted from the ground - all these components are found in the desert. Would you believe that the watch formed itself? That the Sun shone, the wind blew, lightning struck, the oil bubbled to the surface and mixed with the sand and metal, and over millions of years the watch came together by random or natural coincidences? "Were they created from nothing, or did they create themselves?"Quran 52:35-6According to modern science, the universe is finite and has a beginning. Where did the universe ultimately come from? Human experience and simple logic tell us that something that has a beginning does not simply come from nothing, nor can something create itself. We can reason that a higher "being" created the universe. This "being" must be powerful and intelligent as it brought the whole universe into existence and created the 'laws of science' which govern it. We can also reason that this "being" is timeless and spaceless, because time, space and matter began at the creation of the universe. All of these attributes make up the basic concept of God, the creator of the universe.
Some may ask, "Who created God?" God, the Creator, is different to His creation. Unlike the universe and the rest of creation, God is eternal, has always existed and has no beginning.

not really, he commits some VERY basic errors in just the first 3 minutes. here:
1min in, its nothing to do with evidence whatsoever. I dismiss this entire line of thought. Its all about the human attributes given to a deity, which match up to a deity being man made (of course they'd give it human characteristics, its all they knew of). this isn't evidence against, just that it falls in line with the idea that if there was no god, this would still be true.
      2:30
about creation. he starts by begging the question (a fallacy), insisting that creating from something, or nothing involves a WHO. there's no need to ask if there's a who. you want to find out who OR what, got the universe here (even using the word creation smuggles in the idea that religious people look for).

finding the ferrari in your garage. we know ferraris are made by people, we have LOADS of evidence of this.
what if you had evidence of nature forming ferraris too? the same level we have of people making them.
then how would you know where the ferrari came from? simple, you'd have to look at the evidence for each and find out which matches.
in this example it fails in multiple ways. we have NO evidence of universes or life being created, nor do we even have other universes to compare ours to to know if it was a created or natural universe (analogous to the natural or manmade ferrari).
this is a very common, and frankly very stupid argument that theists use because they have absolutely no idea what they're talking about. shit like this has been trashed millions of times in the usa even by republicans in court. no one of sound mind here takes this argument seriously. there's even an abbreviation for it PRATT (points refuted a thousand times)
      3:00
last point is about the universe out of nothing. this has NEVER been proposed out of philosophical (or absolute) nothing.
when science says something like...
