It's been a looong while since I've had time to listen to any of your content, but I've been in a nostalgic mood these past few days. Based on what I remember of your outro-rambles, I'd say you've more than earned your "retirement." Persisting at making YT content when you wanted to do anything but that was a trial of endurance and patience and whatever else. However, the true indicator of self growth is in you making the decision to cut the wire. I don't know how much this will mean from some rando you've never met, but I'm proud of you, Xan. You've helped more people than you will ever know, but now it's time to help yourself.
From this point forward, I hope that any content you create is spawned solely from your own interests. It might be book narration, or game commentary, or 10 minutes of incoherent screeching after your favorite sports team is knocked from the semi-finals, or nothing at all. We may see (hear?) it never, or instead as a random release for your sixth grandson's 23rd birthday. Whatever you decide to do or not do, just know we're all so glad to have been part of your journey.

Honestly I respect your decisions and I didn’t even see this video but I just want you to know don’t quit if you feel pressured or if you feel like it’s too much just for that reason. If this is something that you love to do I think you should continue to do it even if it is a little hard. I don’t know your life and maybe it’s the best thing I do for your health but I also know that if I gave up on something that I love with all my heart just because it was a little hard for me at first and then I wouldn’t forgive myself. So please consider that and this is just from a fan.
if this is something that you want to do for your health you should go for it. but if fear for your health is stopping you from doing what you love I’m sure you should find a way to work it out and I know you’re very enough too😊
