There are a lot of particles in Burmese grammar. We use Subject particle, object particle and place particle (preposition).
"ga." is the subject particle and we can use it after the subject.
for example:
I = kyan ma. ga. (for female)
"I" is the subject so we can use ga. after the subject
I am Aung.
kyan ma. ga. Aung ba
"go" is the object particle and we use it after the object.
for example:
me = kyan ma. go (for female)
"me" is the object so we can use "go" after the object.
He knows me.
thu ga. kyan ma. go thi. de
know - thi. de (Verb)

Short form of Amaji is Ama?

We use
ama. gyi:
ama.
ma. ma. for older/elder sister or the female who are older than us.
We can call ama. gyi: to the person who is 10 years or 15 years older than us but it sounds really old so basically we use ama. or ma. ma. for big sister.
