What's interesting about watching Basel's videos is that he is actually a part of the Filipino community. Other vloggers...even those who have been in the Philippines for a long while...They still don't seem to get it. Their videos are all about "Look at me and look at the cool place I'm in!" They still just treat the Philippines as their personal playground.
