Hi everyone! Thank you for all the support on this video and my channel! To all my new subscribers, I just want to let you know that I do have more videos coming, I know I haven't posted in a few months but I've been super busy with uni, but once I have more time I am going to get more videos out! Upcoming videos I've planned are a guide to Mamamoo's discography, and a video for new ARMY that introduces BTS' music (as asked by a viewer). I also want to make some videos about ONEWE's music, but not entirely sure exactly what yet.. If you have an ideas for videos (preferably the groups I mention in the about section on my channel) please let me know, I love hearing suggestions and ideas!!

Well most people judge them from their english songs only because they’re the most popular. Of course their english songs are really great but their other songs are just gold

There are soooo many genres that they haven't made yet as a group: folk (either East Asian folk (ex. Daesung's D-Day EP) or European folk (ex. Lana Del Rey's Blue Banister)); rock (alt rock, punk, grunge, nu metal, but please no pure heavy metal :')); bedroom pop; alt RnB (?); pure Jazz; New Jack Swing; Industrial HipHop; art pop; indies; city pop; pure orchestral (not just remix); hyperpop; country; dancehall; NOISE; dream pop (PLEASEEE MAKE A SONG LIKE TXT'S BLUE HOUR); etc.
omg never thought of bts doing a lana style or txr blue hour style song but they'd absolutely kill it! thanks for watching!!

Correct genre labeling doesn't matter to the people I'd share this with. They would be impressed by the wide variety of feelings and styles:
Energetic/optimistic, wistful, soulful, defiant, lovely/dreamy, funky, Latin, jazz night club. Desperate, grand and orchestral, driven and exotic, smooth, upbeat stadium song, cozy but vaguely unsettling, bouncy and funky, energizing, wistful/regretful/lovely. Lonely, aimless, and depressed. Groovy bossa nova, raw and sharply rhythmic. Cheery disco, old school hip hop rap harshness.
I appreciate the visual variety, too. Gigantic sunny concert, small personal corner, artistic stage sets, street fashion swag amidst a music video armageddon. Stylish mansion, ordinary old apartment, lively night concert, synchronized smooth dancing. Doe eyed maknae, expressive MV dancing, wearing suits in a grand old theatre, ancient Korean village and palace. Sexy dancing on stage, relaxed stadium concert, city scenes like a dramatic movie, old cafe and odd wardrobe! Loveliest movie-goers ever, vintage film, line drawn illustration art, cool concert, street dancing (shoe commercial!), simulated sunny day since S.Korea had severe pandemic lock downs, 3 rappers in the spot light.

I study music so lemme just correct the things ya got wrong bud
1. Wrong. "Dance" is extremely vague. It's EDM (Electronic DANCE music) so you're not 100% wrong. The Actual Genre is HOUSE and the sub genre is Progressive house i think mixed with some funk elements.
2. Correct
3. Wrong. I think its the same genre as My Time. But i may be wrong.
4. Hip hop is an umbrella term. Mic drop is specifically trap I think.
5. Awake is correct. Take away "rock" maybe?
6. Dream pop is incorrect lmao that does not exist. It's actually downtempo/ambient inspired music.
7. Funk. Not Funk Rock.
8. You mean Latin pop....?

10. Fake Love is rock. The original has pop elements but its more rock. Needs more guitars IMO.
11. BS is like an orchestral arrangement of a trap track.

I ALSO study music and I clearly stated that these were based off my opinions. I appreciate your input, however I actually disagree with some of your statements, and also feel your need to "correct" me about every single opinion (as if you were grading me) I stated is unnecessary and rather entitled. A few things, I specifically refered to Airplane pt 2 as "Latin inspired" as BTS are not singing in Spanish nor are Latin artists, however being obviously greatly influenced by Latin type beats. I also do not see an issue with using umbrella terms as they are not incorrect in reference to how BTS use them in their music, for example Rap is the overarching style (as this video is specifically titled "geners AND styles" for a reason) of Cypher 3, and Hip Hip is the overarching style of Mic Drop. I also deliberatly titled Look Here as Funk Pop and Fake Love as Pop Rock as both follow the particular pop structure of a typical modern popular song, while still displaying aspects of either funk or rock. I would not call either entirely funk or rock, same with calling Sweet Night solely folk, as if you have listened to any traditional folk music, you would notice these stylistic differences. Dream pop is a genre that follows particular pop and rock narratives while being stylistically gothic and alternative, which I do think fits Interlude: Set Me Free, I would not say it is ambient as ambient music tends to be instrumental and follow a loose stucture which is unlike Interlude: Set Me Free. I do not agree with your labelling of Lights as Future Pop, despite its synthasised intrumental, nothing else points to it straying from modern Pop. 134340 definitely borders on both Bossa Nova and Lofi so I can see why you would think that, however as I don't know a lot about traditional Bossa Nova I did not want to entirely refer to it as that, I also did point out the beat is NOT lofi, which you insinuated. I could go on, however I honestly can't be bothered to explain to you my, clearly stated, opinions and honestly feel ridiculous having to read a comment that not only implies that your opinions are more valid than mine, but also entirely defeats the purpose of constructive discussion due to the unnecessary attitude your comment has.
