thats normal in the tropics. Hurricanes are strong natural monsters. Im a Miami resident since the date of my birth. I have witnessed and impacted by direct eye landfalls and brushes of various hurricanes or tropical storms like katrina, irma, wilma, nicole, and many others. florida in on average the most struck state of the country. even without global warming or climate change, tropical cyclones are indeed monstrous mother nature phenomenon. My prayers go to the victims family and friends in cedar key and elsewhere in idalia's path. hurricanes are no joke and it does not discriminate anyone of all sizes, ages, heights and backgrounds. I lost one of my 3rd cousins from irma. Please dont let your guard down.

Prayers for all affected by Idalia 🙏...Desantis wouldn't even pronounce the name of Hurricane Idalia correctly because it is a Hispanic pronunciation. Insists on calling it Eyedalia when the hurricane center's official pronunciation is «ee dal ya». The guy can't even stand for diversity in names!

These are the kind of visuals the SoCal news station could only dream of during Hilary. They didn't even get the chance to stand out there in the wind and rain yelling into their microphones, talking about "rain being like nails into the face", when anybody with a lick of sense would have stayed indoors.

These are the the things that really show the difference between te left and the right. Comment section on videos like these. As a man from NYC, why when we’re suffering from a disaster like the major flooding we had 2 years ago where the water came down so fast where we had families in basement apartments down because they had no time to get out. People above a lot of these basement apartments were breathing through their own floors with axes trying to save them.. ..the comment section is full of people from states like Florida mocking us. ‘Christians’ commenting how it ‘God’s punishment’ and so on. More likely to tell us why we deserved it than give condolences, but when it happens to y’all. You don’t see us making those comments?
Truly, I hope y’all are ok out there in Florida and make it through this alright. Stay safe!

Remember Katrina? 1400 people died, and every pastor with a TV show said "Must be because of gays/abortion/voodoo"
      Bodies weren't even cold yet.
