Just came across your videos of Ensenada. I was raised going to to La Joya beach camp. My grandpa built a house on the opposite side of the camping grounds in Las Lomitas, behind the fire station back in the 80s and we are close to the family that owns La Joya Beach grounds. This is a peace of heaven to me and I love coming here 3 to 4 times a year, I have the best memories in this area. Thank you for posting these videos 🙏

Very nice tour of the place we call home. A few clarifications specific to La Jolla Beach Camp: It is closed ("Cerrado") to campers. They closed down permanently during the covid pandemic, but seem to allow a few special guests to stay on occasion. Maybe they will reopen someday as there are so many families that have been coming to camp here for decades that would love to come back. The homes are mostly owned and are not rentals, however, you can check with the office to see if they have rentals. La Jolla Beach Camp ends at that blue covered pavillion and the balance of this tour is different property.
I was told there is a horseback riding excursion on La Joya Beach. Did you see any? This is too strong of a beach to go in the water. Hope it’s ok for horse! Thanks so such a great video!
Last weekend I stayed at a beach house close to La Marina, the road down is so bad right now and it took a lot of extra time. The project looks like it will go on for 50 years. But I love this area and have been here seven times in the last decade.

I will be moving to Ensenada in the next month and will be staying at La Jolla or Villarino in my motorhome to start with. I will welcome any tips or advice you may have for me!
Nice video however a correction on info... La Jolla is no longer open to public. No longer camping and absolutely no renting any properties in La Jolla but still a wonderful place.
I just called La Jolla's that shows on their website. They answered but stated that they were closed, I mean the camping. Do you know anyone who rent their house inside of La Joya that I can cont? I want to go for a week.
