The abyss of the ocean and the distortion of fear, both capture a feeling of dark dread in their own way. Very unique concepts for a series that needs to refresh itself as often as Resident Evil.

A very underrated title. Resident Evil: Revelations 2 is such a good game that it left some of the fans who played and liked it very excited after the certain failure that was Resident Evil 6.
Revelations 2 is by far my favorite RE game, it just has this rusty, filthy, abandoned atmosphere to it that I have never seen before in the series. You can intuitively sense the unspeakable and horrific events of human suffering that have happened in the various locations of the game, and it feels like the farther you go, the deeper it drags you down a rabbit hole of terror. The monsters, too, fit in to the environment perfectly, with their bloated, mutilated rotting forms stapled together with rusted metal and leaking pus, bearing the markings of the most nightmarish, depraved, and sadistic acts of torture and human experimentation imaginable. These were truly some of the most stomach wrenching abominations the series has ever produced. Even the parts outside are super creepy, with the only light struggling to pierce the dark haze that hangs over the dilapidated, crumbling soviet bloc architecture and horrific, tortured monstrosities lurking at every corner. I believe Revelations 2 does a better job of capturing the full nightmarish and stomach-turning terror of human experimentation than any other game not only in the resident evil series but also beyond. It is truly a masterpiece and I cannot recommend it enough. It is truly proof that resident evil never truly lost sight of its horror roots.
The feelings Revelations 2 invokes are a lot like the ones you'd get from being at a place like Auschwitz, you know horrible things have been done there and you can see the results of those horrible acts everywhere you go. However, the purpose of it is different from a place like Auschwitz, one is essentially an industrialization of the act of killing people while the other is a mad attempt by someone who KNOWS they're going to die to claim some form of immortality no matter the means or depths.
This game. This fucking magnificent game! It was the first time in years that I felt like I was truly playing a Resident Evil title again. To me, it was a literal redemption of the series, because I'd officially given up all hope of playing a GOOD Resident Evil game until I actually played the game. I only even gave this game a chance because someone said it was survival horror again. I'm so glad I took a chance. The soundtrack was also one of the best in years!

Yes, there are little things that I hate, but it compensates with responsive controls, great atmosphere, awesome OST, solid storyline, and compelling character development.

One character responsibility is battle and second support. Played with girlfiend. I think you know who played support who fighter. :) This title has very enigmatic soundttracks and place for game. The best on RE universe for now i think. This game has nice history line, you cant wait to play further, you dont expect anything. Enough of me. Can't wait for revelations 3.
My god I love this melody. I started playing revelations 2 today and was pleasantly surprised with how interesting and truly scary it is. This is my first Resident Evil game outside of the mainline series and I absolutely love it and can't believe I didn't play it sooner. I also plan on playing the first revelations, code veronica, the dark side chronicles, and the other resident evil games. Thanks for posting this beautiful music. It reminds me of silent hill and Anita Yamaoka's style and talent of making a melody sound haunting yet beautiful and otherworldly.

Im really excited to see what they do for the 3rd Game of this magnificent spinoff, and wich author the villian Will take inspiration for their plans.

Didn't think the menu music from the original Revelations could get any better. Capcom proved me wrong. The small subtle changes make it so much more vibrant and upgraded. This game was very underrated. I must say, I hated the episode format.
At least this game much better than Resident Evil 5 and 6. Also most music I like the most out of the full Resident Evil game series is Resident Evil 5. But this game has some jump scares that actually scared me, I got jumped scared at least 5 times in the game. I enjoyed it alot that it will be on my best game list.
