Curious to see how the fogger preforms long term. I've never had good luck with the foggers from Zoomed, but really love how they can produce a misty little jungle for my humidity-loving reptiles.
Thanks for sharing! Nice set up! Noticed a gap in the drainage area of this tank...Was that a trick of lighting or actually there? If so how did you fix it? I have been looking at different enclosure options as the collection grows... Thank you so much!
@@MikeTytula no worries Mike, its all good. I am happy to see my previous babies doing awesome with great reptile person :) Still will wait for my shout though hahahaha
I need to see how the leap enclosures stand up for a few years before I would be able to trust them. Their material choices just dont seem sustainable and long lasting to me.
Well the humidity and temperature have a direct relationship with eachother. The mister provides the moisture for the lizard and the plants, the fogger I have set to come on mostly at night, when naturally humidity levels spike.
Great video! I've had a leap enclosure for a few months now (22 x 17 x 36) for my Green Keel Belly lizard (similar to your little green ones). The enclosure was super easy to construct and I enjoyed decorating it. I'm finding a small leak in one area though ... thankfully I bought the drip pan too!

Ya so far so good! Thanks for watching man! Love to see that you are still watching!
I ❤ your videos on lizard 🦎 s ,,!
Glad you enjoy them! There should be more coming in the near future!
Of course we want updated substrate info, please! 😁 Also, any plants you recommend or have for sale.... 👍
I will have a ton of plants available at the CRBE next weekend :)
Loved the video and respected care you take to make these lives better.
That is the end goal! If I could I'd make rooms for everything!
This is great, we want to go bioactive for our crested gecko and this video is a huge help
This will be perfect for your crested gecko! Similar concepts, just more cork bark for them haha.
@@MikeTytula awesome, thank you!
Good luck on the setup!
Do a follow up video or short on this please
Not a bad idea! Thanks for the suggestion!
I would like to see a follow-up on this lizard habitat and maybe someone else's build-out if much different ❤
Awesome!!! I’ve always wondered how to make a bioactive tank for lizards
Cant tell if that is sarcastic or not haha
@@MikeTytula lol I m usually sarcastic! But this want sarcasm XD
Haha well thanks for the kind words!
Nice work.👌🤙
Thanks!
The GTA reference lmao, this build was awesome
Haha thanks Avery, glad someone picked up on the reference!
Thank you Mike.
Thanks for watching Barb!

Thank you so much!
That is in the front to allow airflow in the front of the tank, so you would have to keep the substrate level below that gap.
@@MikeTytula Thank you so much! That makes sense. Going to have to look further into the tanks...love the light weight.
pretty sure I just fell in love with this guy!
Noice haha
Great video brotha
Thanks for watching man!
Great video
We will see you at the expo. Gotta get spring food.
Sounds good! We will have plenty! As well as some new cheeto dust springtails (Orange springtails)
Dose this work with wester fence lizards?
You could probably make it work for them.
So here's the video of what I'm waiting for to elevate my Tachydromus care. 🙏
This will help!
updated substrate guide!
That will definitely be coming!
I will be receiving a pair of pacific blue tail skinks (Emoia caeruleocauda) hopefully I will be able to breed them and get a captive population going
That's awesome! I'm so glad to hear that!
Updated ultimate substrate video please!
It certainly will be coming! Got a bunch of content from Madagascar to post though!
Would this work for a small Leachie?
Even an adult leachie this would be fine for.
Although that is a fantastic enclosure, can you recommend a Canadian site for enclosures ?
Unfortunately they aren't in Canada yet! Where are you located?
They ship to Canada now
Can anyone tell me what the yellow gecko (or anole?) In the thumbnail is?
Ok found it already, its Pseudogecko smaragdinus
Nailed it!
When will leap be available in Canada?
Im hoping soon! I know so many people that want them!
Can you use this technique for frogs?
Which technique? Just this method of building an enclosure you mean?
What is that purple flower?
Some sp. of sinningia
Nice bioctive build! By the way no shout to me? The original owner of your takydromus dorsalis😂
-Rico Canlas
Hahah sorry Rico tbh I forgot that I told you I would mention your name! I will hopefully remember next reptile room tour!

Hahah I will need to remember it for the next video!

Ya I am definitely looking forward to seeing how these perform.
@@MikeTytula please do an update in a few months or a year or so :)
Ya I will definitely be doing an update
Would a gargoyle gecko work
In this enclosure? Ya absolutely!
Why would I want a fogger AND a mister in a tank?
Mister is for the plants and fogger is for the lizards. They need medium to high humidity
Why extra humidity of course lol
Well the humidity and temperature have a direct relationship with eachother. The mister provides the moisture for the lizard and the plants, the fogger I have set to come on mostly at night, when naturally humidity levels spike.

Glad you enjoy them! It's holding up fairly well for me as well!
New video for the substrate pleaseeeeeeeee for turtlessssss
Turtle substrate? What turtles do you keep?
@@MikeTytula eastern box!
Nice!
@@MikeTytula I’ve been using your channel and a couple others for all my info. Thanks 😊
Awesome! I will caution you with who you take information from on TH-cam haha. Not saying that all my information is correct either!
4 years ago we built a bioactive ecosystem
That's awesome
Hmm...earth smells earthy. Noted
Hahaha I hate when people do that, and I did it!
😂
Thumbs down
Whys that?
