Looks great, have you thought about getting a set of grillgrates? They really help with cooking direct and avoiding the flare ups .

David Leiva Thanks for subscribing! And yes this is a BGE product. Got it at my local dealer...there are some great ones out there. Most accessories you find will be for the Large BGE and I have the XL. Check out Ceramic Grill store fore some cool accessories...they have a more advanced raised grate...however this one does fine for me and my needs.

Can you use a plate setter if you don't have the raised grate?

destynd2 you sure can. I use a plate setter normally for my chicken as it erases any issue of flare ups. The only thing you may not get as much of is the char on the chicken that using a direct method ensures. You can do this with a normal grate but you'd have to watch it more closely...maybe at 350° vs 400°.

I've been trying to get a raised grate since I first seen this video a couple months ago. Can't find them, I even asked my dealer to order me one and he never did. Anyway trying this today, hope it goes well.

Thank you, after I add the water/corn starch, do I let it boil longer or is it good right then

jveach395 good right then. Should thicken considerably.

Another option...they do seem a bit hard to find. I picked mine up locally.
