Virtual Launch of Positive Parenting & Child Digital Application

Parisar Asha in association with Capgemini launched Positive Parenting & Child Application on 8th Oct’21. We are grateful to Smt. Supriya Suleji, Hon'ble MP of Lok Sabha for gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest. Our heartfelt gratitude to Capgemini for supporting this initiative for the past 4 years and all the leaders who are present today to make this such a joyous moment.
Working in the education space for over four decades, Parisar Asha realised that there is a dire need of providing counselling support to underprivileged parents who neither have access nor can afford such services. This led to the inception of Positive Parenting & Child Helpline - A toll free number (18005322244/9594466461) in 2017 with the support of Capgemini, India. This toll-free number was the beginning of providing parental and mental health support by a team of a psychologist and a psychiatrist for free. During these four years of intervention, Parisar Asha have been able to help 4 lac individuals and their family members.
The pandemic has shown the grim reflection of the mental health scenario globally where ‘mental health’ has itself taken up the form of an invisible pandemic. Understanding this need, this app is a new feather in our hat which will enable us to provide free mental health support to everyone.
