    I think it suck that they said it's 7000 series exclusive so i got 7800xt anyway that card is insane with oc and got av1 + ai cores but congrats to 6000 owners

      i turned on fluid motion frames and it lowers my fps by a lot using a 6800xt, whats going on here, I just updated to 24.1.1 and they now added it to the whql drivers non beta but it doesn't seem to be working for me.

    Its definitely impressive but its only higher number's. They need to reduce motion artifacts, latency and support HDR.
    I'm tried it on Cyberpunk and I miss HDR as it looks amazing with it on. There is also alot of artifacting like tearing even with freesynced frames.
    What it does do well though is give you more motion clarity when you move the camera around.
    I hope the release version of AFMF has improved or it probably won't be used except in FSR 3 supported games.

    You're CPU bottlenecked because you produce too many frames for the CPU to handle, you can reduce the bottleneck by optimizing the CPU's settings to run faster and more efficiently with the Ram or you can use 5800X3D if you're on AM4 platform and do the optimizations on that CPU which will give you the least Bottleneck for such high Framerate count on AM4 platforms.
    Infinity fabric tweaks as well as 1:1 DDR4 Ram ratio with the CPU may help too.

    Your GPU Utilisation is capped at 60%, probably because ever: fps has gone over your monitor or maybe yes it doesn’t need to work that hard, considering this is a card that is normally supported with directX12 It doesn’t need to go crazy with high graphic fidelity, which is what directX12 usually does to make your GPU sweat. But another thing your CPU is clearly not being bottlenecked. Considering that it’s at 43 average utilisation because again 12 works best with Fidelity rather than frames. And DirectX11 is the opposite which is what performance mode runs on. so yeah I think I made my point lol

      @simple7841 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Trust me Bro It Is cpu bottleneck, I have a 5800x3d that Is mach faster and I get 500+ fps but my GPU Is only at 40% utilization and my CPU Is at 50% becouse It Is still cpu bottlenecked. The cpu doesn t need to be at 100% to be the bottleneck.

    • @Stands01
      @Stands01  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@Nixer1131 you’re welcome! As of right now it’s a bit hard to tell if AMD will be able to reduce latency as AFMF adds a fake frame in between 2 real frames which causes latency; but you never know, they could do a driver what can reduce the latency by a little bit in the future!
      For the image quality, I do think AMD will do a driver in the future that can improve image quality because as of right now, the driver is in beta so it could be better by the time a complete version of AFMF fully releases which is in Q1 2024!

And with afmf on the actual fps is slightly lower bc its using gpu power. So those fps drops are basically just stutters and imo worse then playing with a lower fps.

      If you are getting 60 FPS or over and you activate AFMF; you typically won’t feel a difference as you are over the recommended frame rate that AMD says; but if you activate AFMF when you are on 50 frames or less, you will feel more input lag

      @@IanBailey666 when I was talking about “you typically won’t feel a difference” I was talking about latency. If you are getting over 60FPS and enable AFMF, the latency won’t be as bad as if you were going to enable AFMF at 30 FPS.
      If you enable AFMF at 60 frames, you will then get 120 Frames in game and if you have a monitor/tv that can produce 120hz, you will feel the 120hz smoothness; I hope that makes sense.

    gonna say fluid motion frames has its use cases atm but theres more cases where its better off at this point.
    second point is about ur cpu usage vs gpu usage. one 1080p and especially when ur using upscaling or anything below that (100% resolution slider) its going to put even more stress on the cpu. this is why tech tubers always use 1080p or lower when testing cpus in games.
    one prime example of this i saw alot on my facebook group was MW2 when people were using 1080p and using dlss as well using their benchmark and then complaining they had a cpu bottleneck because the cpu usage was at 80-90% usage. but the main issue was using dlss at 1080p ( should never use upscalers with a 1080p setup it just looks horrible having to upscale from 720p)
    cool video non the less though. i tried AFMF on my 6800xt and it worked fine in some games and others the image quality suffered alot when u panned the camera to fast and frames would plummet. that and theres a driver bug that causes my whole system to hang/freeze when watching videos on my browser.

      Because Fluid Motion Frames is Driver side, game will only show you your real frame rate before interpolation. Whereas FSR 3.0 requires game integration so it has access to motion vectors and other game data, so youll see post interpolation FPS in games with native FSR 3 integration.@@xHeexi
