The up and down barometer pressure this summer has made it harder to catch nice fish, way more rain and usually heavy rain brings in more food from the creeks. Plus fishing areas you don't know makes it harder.
I am right handed and I like to use my right hand to hold and cast the rod, and my left hand to reel, but most of the bait casters that I own are the opposite with a right hand retrieve. I have ONE that is left hand retrieve.
Fish cooking 101: It works best if you make a batter instead of breading. Add Golden Dipped batter mix with water and hot sauce. Use half the box of golden dipped in the batter and have as a dry dredge/breading. Drop in batter first, then dry dredge. Then, deep fry. Free cooking lesson.

No no no pat the fish dry. Make a beer batter with flouer and a can of beer. Dredge the fish in flour so the batter will stick to your fist.
