You can develop this after years of drinking. My friend did after 20 years of drinking and benzo abuse. He was warned to stop and hospitalized. He went back to the booze and pills again and again.He became as pale as Phil. He died age 32. His last time in the hospital his stomach blew up with fluid, his eyes were yellow and he had purple bruises. His wife took him to the hospital and she told me he was terrified. He grabbed a nurse's shirt and asked "AM I going to die tonight?" She told him to settle down, he'd pull through. She was wrong about that. Phil better cool it, he's not far from dead
This is my thinking exactly. Liver damage in chronic alcohol abusers is extremely common. If you continue drinking with liver disease your tolerance will drop significantly. Because your body's ability to break down the alcohol is dependent on having a well functioning liver.

he needs to b placed in a facility for treatment of alcoholism and 24-hour care because he clearly can't do anything for himself so he basically COMPLETELY USELESS IN EVERY WAY
There's no such thing as an ex addict. Even if you stop using, that demon is always inside you and it never fully goes away. Fil always sounds hungover.

You cant be diagnosed with post nasal drip. Post nasal drip is a symptom of something else like achohol intolerance or the flu. Post nasal drip is not an illness.
