  • We all have that space that seems to collect a lot of clutter, well today we fabricate a set of AWESOME wall L brackets to help eliminate that clutter and organize the area along the side of my shed.
Follow along as I show you step by step on how you can make a simple set of wall brackets to help organize your area and keep your wood and metal storage area neat and tidy.
The metal I'm using is 1x 3/16 square tube which was left over material from the tailgate fabrication of the PILE Trailer Rebuild Series - tailgate episode.

Just kidding! I am in the process of making the assembly table. I found magnet drills on Amazon for less than $300. Do you know anything about them are they worth anything. We have them at work and they're about a thousand bucks.

I love mine. I use it most in the drill press mode that i created but they are super useful and powerful

Nice job, good skills with the portaband, not sure I could do those cuts without throwing a blade. Good method for fabbing up brackets though, should save time.

Holy smokes! I wish it was that easy to clean up in my shop. I feel like I could start my own junk yard. Looking forward to what you have planned for your next project

How much weight could you put on a shelf that has three or four brackets over 8 feet?

Hey Robert, Sorry I'm just seeing this. I have one setup on my garage with 3 brackets spaced out evenly over 8 feet and I have about 200 pounds of pressure treated lumber stacked on them. I feel like I could stack much more though. I weigh 200 and I can easily hang off just one bracket without it flexing at all.

Great organization idea, thanks Brandon! What size/gauge square tubing did you use? Definitely going to try and make a couple of these, I need some shelving in my shop!

+Bill Puller Thanks! I believe the tube was 1" x 1/8" wall. It was leftover from the tailgate material on the "PILE" Trailer Rebuild. They save a lot of space and way stringer than what you typically find at the store. I believe a 20' piece was less than $15.00

Thanks for the video. New to your channel and like it a lot. I liked the technique you used to fold the metal. Could someone do that with an angle grinder? I'm assuming no due to the lack of accuracy but wanted to ask because I don't have a band saw yet.

Travis, you sure can use an angle grinder. Just take your time and go at slowly at first. You will be able to get a really decent fit up if you take your time. Thanks for watching!
