I consider these items such as piping (prob would go name brand intercooler tho), catch can, gauges, fittings, lines, etc.
@@NoTraction yeah I figured most of your stuff was name brand.... I feel the same way... would rather have good parts on my car, even if it is a lil pricey compared to what other people are doing.... p.s. thank you for replying, great job on video.... please keep making vids
I built one for 3k. ......but i had parts laying around.
Yeah that's not bad at all! Most people have stuff laying around or some mods have been done to the car already, that def saves some money! What turbo did you go with?
I want to see the nova again
I will have some videos of it this spring! It ate part of a dipstick so I have to drop the pan to fish it out this winter
After everything adds up ,it still cheaper than one Stupid Tesla Battery ✅️
selling my stage 1 68k miles no rust lmk if interested
2004 stock no accidents clean title
Rust free! That's def getting harder to find these days!
Location
Location price?
Do u have website to get these parts from ???
I personally don't. I have used agp's website, modern performance, and summit racing. I like moder performance and summit the best. There are other websites out there, but those are the only 3 I have used for srt4 parts.
That's why I leave mine stock....
Stock ones are basically unicorns these days! Bullet proof and still fun though!
343 hp and not full bolt ons yet on stock turbo
Not bad, and good to note! This video just gives a rough idea, it is by nomeans a set, x+y=hp. Everyones setup is a little different, so it's hard to throw numbers out there that fit everything.
$10,000+
Spending over 10k to get to 500whp is insane and if it costs ya that much to build it you're doin it wrong. Only had to spend around 1k to get to 350whp and another $400 to get to 450whp. Granted the 450whp is with Chinese turbo but all the same.
Cheapest route is just buy one that's already built to the tits that someone else is done playing with and needs the money for a house or has a baby on the way. LoL
Ask me how I know lol
@@NoTraction im 38 and not interested in building a car anymore, but I know what goes into it...I'm gunna find one that a finnish build and just enjoy it and appreciate it for what it is.
Hey man nothing wrong with that! I have an older beetle that I have done basically nothing besides diagnose an electrical issue. I don't mind doing minor work and sometimes you just dont want/ have time for a project you know?
290 is plenty
What’s your insta?
It's @no_traction
Easy enough lol
300 hp is plenty lol
your exhaust sounds like garbo lmao
I dump it straight out of the header lol. So basically it's just a header haha. It sounds better thru the whole exhaust imo, but it's just too quite for me
No Traction my buddy’s srt4 has a borla exhaust and it sounds so nice
Ayy bro I have a channel called no traction and I also have a neon what a coincidence I didn’t know this channel existed or I wouldn’t have called mine that sorry didn’t mean to copy you I think no traction is just a common thing on the mind of srt 4 owners 😂 anyway wish you the best
No big deal lol. Traction is def an issue with them! I don't think there is an easier car to build that has such big issues with traction than neons lol. Best of luck to you too!
