We are currently NOT predicting a recession, the prediction is for a GLOBAL DEPRESSION as bad or worse than 1929 in 2024. The National Debt alone is enough to trigger this, then add in Germany, China, declining housing market, needless wars and fighting for supremacy in many places around the globe and it is not a prediction, but a certainty. Derivative leveraged mega-massive debt will always lead to disaster.

Inflation is a euphemism for a devaluation of a currency and the devaluation will continue as long as the interest rate is less than the rate of devaluation.
I disagree completely….if interest rates continue increasing, there will be a landslide of problems. The Fed cannot afford to do this. Quite honestly, reduce rates considerably and then gradually reduce over time. Also in my area, we have already started a major slowdown except for construction.
