I love Sunday mornings so much because I can’t click on the video fast enough when it pops up on my phone. And I don’t know about all of you guys, but I think she either got a new camera or a new lens. I don’t know, but it looks like better than some of the films I see on Netflix. Isabel, your videos are truly amazing and your family is so loving and kind. I can’t tell you how much watching your videos has literally changed my life. I gave up a job that I absolutely hated that made me miserable every single day and because my husband and I were able to sell our beachfront condo in Florida because we live in Illinois. We are now able to be retired early and I’m 53 years old and it feels incredibly amazing to live slowly each and every day and enjoy the birds outside and the walks in nature and parks and forest preserves and just live more in the moment and not live to work. I know that at some point, I’ll get some part time job, but if its highly stressful at all I will literally walk away from it and not think a thing about it. My husband and I both suffer from depression and anxiety, and since walking away from our jobs, we are so much happier and more more joyful, and we minimized everything in our lives so that we don’t have to worry about money as much as we used to. So thank you for your kindness, love, and way of living. I’m so grateful for you! ❤❤❤❤❤❤

You want to know what's amazing? When I visited Northern Calfornia Coast (Humboldt County) for the first time in May of 2021 I was felt exactly how you felt. The redwood forest just revived my soul and refreshed my spirit in such a magical way breathing in the fresh air and seeing all the greenery and the huge trees that gave me childlike energy that I needed so much. The blue ocean with the rock forms just blew me away too with excitement and made me feel at awe with everything that surrounded me. I ended up moving to McKinleyville, CA exactly a year later and it was the best decision I ever made honestly. It was a huge leap of faith moving 14 hrs away from my home town, but it felt so right and I'm so glad I did because now I truly live a fairytale in a place that fills my soul with so much joy daily. Humboldt County would welcome you with open arms honestly you and Logan would fit in so perfectly in McKinleyville, CA where the ocean meets the forest with so much great farm fresh foods and creeks and rivers. We have maker spaces where many locals gather and create all kinds of things that will inspire you. You can teach classes too with all the skills you have at the Maker Spaces. There is one at our local farmstand that I love! Your free spirit and kindred personality vibes so well with the locals here honestly it would be magical and a perfect fit. As soon as I saw that you visited here the first thought in my mind was she would absolutely love it here if she moved here like I did 2 years ago. McKinleyville weather is the best too. No hot summers, but warm sun. No freezing winters, but close to snow if you want to visit. Lots of rain but it creates such beautiful greenery everywhere. The ocean dose something to your soul indeed so breathtaking. I just watched a group of dolphins playing with each other this morning. We had a baby seal walking on our streets so the rescue team took her to Jenkinson’s Aquarium to evaluate her and make sure she was ok , and she was fine just lost. I love watching your journeys. The Redwood Forest is just beautiful. There’s nothing like breathing deep the humid clean dirt smell of a forest. It’s intoxicating! The ferns mixed with the massive trees is just like you said fairy tale like. I love it! ❤ Thanks for sharing!
It’s funny, I came to watch your channel initially for the mountains and then just loved everything about the videos and you. I live on the Great Lakes. Lake Huron to be exact. But I’m also on several acres of forest. I have often had this conversation with my husband about which he’d rather live on, the lake or in the forest. He says he doesn’t know. But for me it is Forest all the way. The Great Lakes are enormous. Most people don’t realize just how many hundreds of miles they span. We call it the fresh water coast. But I love the mountains as well. I can’t have that and have all the water Michigan has to offer so I will never live anywhere else. You can walk any direction in this state and you will hit a body of water in 6 miles or less, whether it be an inland lake or river or one of the Great Lakes. We have a river across the road and then Lake Huron on the other side within 1/4 mile. It’s been a dream of mine to see the red woods. I hope to one day soon.

I think about moving a lot but I’m blessed to live by one of the Great Lakes. Looking out over the lake is similar to an ocean in the sense that - you don’t see anything but water for miles in front of you - and it’s always so soothing and peaceful to me and I can’t imagine not having that. No people, no buildings, just endless blue.

We have Teddy Roosevelt to thank for most of our public lands, state and national parks, and reserves. I can't imagine this country without all of it. Would have been tragic not to be able to access these breathtaking spaces.

I think about moving a lot but I’m blessed to live by one of the Great Lakes. Looking out over the lake is similar to an ocean in the sense that - you don’t see anything but water for miles in front of you - and it’s always so soothing and peaceful to me and I can’t imagine not having that. No people, no buildings, just endless blue.

I live across the road from the North Sea. It’s cold most days, you will remember how cold the sea was when you were in Scotland. I love living next to the Sea it’s like living on the edge of the world. Your family time is important, my kids, well grown ups are busy making a life for themselves. We have Teddy Roosevelt to thank for most of our public lands, state and national parks, and reserves. I can't imagine this country without all of it. Would have been tragic not to be able to access these breathtaking spaces.
Franklin Roosevelt did so much for the parls with his WPA workers in the 1930's.
@@juanitacarrollyoung2979 well I have a hard time seeing much good he did with all the destruction & misery he caused. His policies extended the depression far beyond what it should have been and when those didn't work he actively sought a way to entrench America in a war to try to pull us out of it. He abused his authority and expanded the size and scope of the state far beyond what it was ever meant to be. He was no hero.
