***** The thing is, Clay Fighter 33 did have those things, but I still regard this as a much superior and class game. That said, there were some elements of CF33 that I actually liked. A 2D based fighter where you can knock each other into so many different backgrounds.
I see many people saying Clay Fighter 1 is superior.. I like this one better, and I like Clay Fighter 63 more than Sculptor's cut. Sculptor's cut doesn't feel complete, and especially Kung Pow moves changed and the options are horrid.
Olvidarlo jamás!! They're just sprites like any other SNES game. They're digitized from actual clay models, sure, but it's literally the exact same process used to create Goro, Kintaro, Motaro, and Sheeva in the Mortal Kombat games. There isn't any extra processing going on that something like, say, Street Fighter 2 is doing.
Nice playthrough. Bad Mr. Frosty was the original badass of the ClayFighter series. He was much more fun to play in this game than the N64 version. Stay COOL.... ⛄
Ickybod clay should of made an appearance. The game plays better then the original but I think the original is better due to the fighters, some of the new fighters are pretty cool; Overall, I played Clay fighters not because it was good but because it was weird.I also played Buzzy for the same reason lol.
Clay Fighter 2 was such a giant step in the right direction, it's sad that Clay Fighter 3 took 50 giants steps backwards. This could have been a good series that would be still going today.
***** Sadly I know, sadly I know. I am a fan of the original Fallouts (1, 2) and several other titles that Interplay had made/published, including a couple of its Star Trek games.. It is a shame what has befallen to it and other such studios like Origin (the developer, not EA's online store/DRM service), Westwood, Maxis, and several others that were such big names in the 80s/90s. How often I wish I could go back in time with a big pile of money, buy up Interplay's debts in return for a position as a shareholder and one of the company's head honcho's, and see to it that titles such as Fallout 3/Van Buren, a new Descent, Freespace, and other such titles would be released. (and I would try to get Blizzard to sign up with Interplay again (instead of Vivendi/Activision) as they did release some of their earlier titles through Iplay such as Lost Vikings and Blackhawk)
***** I grew up with such old greats as Interplay and Lucasarts and the studios that published through them. (I sadly ignored Origin, Westwood, and Maxis at the time, only now I realize what I have been missing) I loved so many of their PC titles and I played also many of their console titles (which reminds me, I need to pick up a copy of Claymates) Lost Vikings on the SNES was great, though I kind of prefer Lost Vikings 2 on the PC/PSX (but I have played the SNES version) Is Rad Gravity still fun to play through Emulator these days? As a Star Trek nerd 25th Anniversary and Judgment Rites were the titles to scratch the itch to play games in that setting. (I do however like some of Activision's ST titles as well) And of course such titles as MDK and MDK2 (Bioware before they went nuts), Giants: Citizen Kabuto. I miss those days and I am saddened that they will never will come back or that we will probably never experience similar great days in the future seeing how the games industry is these days.
***** I think we have reached a point in the history of gaming that the model of development and publishing that the major publishers maintain can barely sustain itself any more. They need to spend millions on development costs and advertisement and need to make so many millions back in order to make up for the costs and get some profit as well. They have been trying to cut back on the development costs but still expect to make hundreds of millions on a game based on the brand/name alone and an advertisement campaign. I think we are long overdue to see some major publishers actually loose ground/money on the game market and start collapsing. Some of the publishers in Japan are already in trouble and I wonder how long it is going to take until it blows over to the West. Not that I am complaining as the Western game industry has become a bloated beast that is suffering from out of control hype, public correctness, and a reluctance to actually invest into new creative efforts, all the while the CEOs and upper staff are making idiotic large incomes and bonuses. But will any decline of the giants be enough to restore the game industry to some state of equilibrium?
It's a shame the visuals for this game are nowhere near the quality of the first one. I don't just mean the smaller sprites, I mean the quality of their animation. A lot less frames, and they come off a bit stiff. Shame really.
Does anyone realize that the pose Hoppy makes for his idle animation is identical to that of Donkey Kong's official artwork for _Super Smash Bros. Brawl?_

Amazing that this game is considered the best one in the entire series, because it's still a massive pile of shit. Really shows you just how abysmal the other ones are.
So the bad Mr Frosty is where Christian Bale got the idea for his Batman voice? Good to know.
That is Christian bale
I prefer Jim Cummings in The N64 version
Now I can imagine him winning a match then picking his opponent up yelling "WHERE ARE THE OTHER DRUGS GOING!?"
"HOCKEY PANTS"
🤣🤣🤣
The kangoo stage is truly terrifying

Deborah Rolski the crib stage is more disturbing
Truly an ugly crowd. Maybe this stage is near one of those toxic waste dumps.
Killer stage music though.

My best fighters are Octohead, Blob and Tiny.
I love the music on this game.

Goo Goo looks like a liberal college kid safe spacer.
Now if this game was made with the Silicon Graphics Software that RareWare had it would look more like Killer Instinct which was smoother.
