Do you numb the area first? I had an ND do this to my foot in hopes to relieve nerve pain. There was no pinched nerve but they keep wanting to inject me full of dextrose. Instead I get electrocuted every time and scream out. ND says he can't numb me. But yet can number me for PRP injections and Prolotherapy injections. The dextrose injections then made things worse. My foot got this hyper sensation, where I couldn't even touch it.
For this one, he did not need numbing. However, since it was exosomes and not a cellular product, you definitely can use lidocaine no problem.
