I am astounded by my strength in my left adductor after one simple easy video, following your instruction from this episode. I have had trouble since 1992 after a bad sprain on my left ankle. It seemed to leave my entire left side weak after a rock climbing fall. After doing the movements in this video, I was shocked that suddenly after 30yrs, I had no issues with inclines. It really astounds me that on my local neighborhood hills that I regularly walked on and that had to rest on, now result in me suddenly feeling stronger and more powerful than ever without even trying. It's so shocking to me. I wanted to do your session again today, so I didn't revert back to my earlier weakened state! Thank You Taro!

This is nothing short of a miracle. My right hip has been prone to locking up for years. Today it happened as I stood from my meditation chair. I followed this exercise and I can hardly believe the difference. I’m now subscribed and making you part of my daily routines.

As usual Taro these stretchings are so effective with minimal effort and so safe for seniors citizen like me.when i was doing the stretching i feel some adjustments happening in my joints becuz i feel and hear cracklings in my hips and when after the crackling sound i felt a feeling of looseness in my muscles and bones and it feels so great no more stiffness.Am going to share this with my friends especially the elders.Thank you so much Taro God bless you!

Wow! I did this today. Before doing this movement, I could fit at least 3 fingers width between the floor and my back. After doing it, less than 2 fingers between the floor and my back. And I paid attention to my walking before and after, definitely smoother and without the twinge of pain in both hips that I had before.

Amazing. I have terribly tight hip flexors and normal stretches haven’t helped. It has frustrated me because I’m a keen tango dancer and my hip extension is so poor I end up with a flexed knee when stepping backwards which is not very elegant. Have just done this exercise and instantly have got less gap under my lumbar spine lying flat and a wider range of movement on the hip “ swing”. I have ankylosing spondylitis so many joints are stiff. Will look forward to trying more of your videos. Thank you for this!

  • @beseez

    You've helped save me.
Yeah. I know that sounds dramatic.
My story: I have moderate arthritis in one hip. I could barely lift my foot. Pain intensity was a 10.
That inner twist of my foot, then the outer butterfly slide up is getting me back to work without crying.
I'm not fixed yet. The key is releasing that outer hip, inner thigh, and being able to lift my foot /knee from the floor.
    I thank you.

Welcome! Changing our physical body is not just about correcting structures as our body and mind are connected, more precisely are one thing. Unfortunately, in our culture, we often think of them as separate parts and treat them as such. Changing our physical body is about changing our brain/nervous system, creating new neural pathways and movement patterns. I believe that if we work with oursevels as whole self rather than isolated mechanical parts, we can improve our functions and quality of life much more significantly!
