honestly, you have just saved my life, I study Atelier and have been struggling on how to effectively sew a collar but this video is really great for beginners.
So happy I found this video. Thank you. I am retired now and with covid-19 spend my morning doing chores and sitting on my couch. Well I decided to make a "couch cape" not a flying cape but a over the shoulder cape. One that is fine if I am setting or doing the dishes. I had some fleece made my cape then decided I would like a collar but did not have a way to design one. This is a great video. Blessings
Bless! This is what I was looking for since the other collar tutorials all work off of existing pattern pieces or doesn’t go into more details on how they got the numbers for each measurements…
Today you just made my life easier.... I've been avoiding the part of attaching collar but through your tutorial I think I just gathered enough courage to do it ❤️❤️
I think I've gotten used to commenting on your videos without watching because I'm positive you won't disappoint. Like all your tutorials, I know I will learn something new. And thanks for always making it so easy.
Thank you for making this video! I cant seem to figure out how to make a dress shirt from photos or drawings or written instructions, this video makes it a lot clearer!
I watched multiple videos to learn how to make a collar but they were all so hard to understand and very confusing. Yours is the one that helped me a lot :3
thank you so much for this video, so helpful!! have you ever made the follow up video to show how to attach the collar to a shirt? I tried checking your channel but have not found it.
Priscilla.. I tell you the growth your channels has seen me go thru.. Eh.. Lemme thank God for you.. I watch all the ads.. That's the thanks I can give.. Ahsante sana
For those of us who use the imperial measurements could you include the inches along with the centimeter measurements. When you did the bodice block you used the imperial measurements. Maybe you could include the inches in ( ). Thank you.
I really enjoy your tutorials. You make it easy for me to understand. I've recently started exploring on basic things. Can you please do this collar pattern and sewing.
Thanking you Priscillia, I've been looking for a tutorial on this subject for weeks now.. Im making a Henley shirt for myself soon, I also want to make another Henley shirt - but - add a collar to it (and a patch pocket), thus sort of turning it into a polo style shirt (if possible lol)? I like the thought of being able to mix & match varying patterns and still coming out with something that looks professional. There aren't that many good patterns out there for us guys I find, so I want to hone my skills and try making a few things for myself :-) Ive just subscribed to your channel, I know your mostly aiming this channel at women, but Im sure there are other things us guys can learn from you here, bless you from Cornwall x
Hello, I’ve only sew this type of collar, but I’m making a casual mens shirt (tropical printed cotton ) and I’m struggling between this classic collar or a one piece collar w no collarband. What would you do?
