Kavos reminds me of old Jaackmaate. Jaack used to challenge the most protected UK TH-camrs (Zoella, Alfie etc.)
Kavos does that now, but now the most protected UK TH-camrs are the Eboys. Particularly Alex.

unpopular opinion: i actually quite like kavos. there are certain things i don't agree with him on, but i admire that he's not afraid to call ppl out on their shit (maybe a little too passionate at times). i feel like most ppl dislike him bc he calls out their favourite TH-camrs (KSI, ImAllexx, etc.), so they're biased :/ -- i'd like to see him on the podcast Jack!

yasmin If Kavos just called people out of their shit and then moved on...I could see what you’re saying. ‘Cause I’m extremely honest, though vastly more nuanced and tactfully than Kavos, with everyone I know...but I voice my opinion, and then I move on. I don’t continue reminding them that I don’t like them or continue telling them I disagree with them morally and ethically. The bloke is incessant, and I don’t think he realizes that he’s setting himself up for failure in the future. He takes the moral high ground on such a wide array of social issues that one day, his actions will contradict a stance he took (why? Because we evolve as people...at 25, he won’t be the same person as when he was 21...at 30, his moral will differ from 25. It’s just how humans are built.) a few years ago...and because morality has a tendency of changing incrementally over time, he may not even be aware that this moral of his has changed...not until someone just like him digs up his past and puts it on display for the world to see.
I know it’s so cliche talk about glass houses and casting stones...but cliches originate from actual occurrences. ..and people have been making this mistake for centuries, and if Kavos doesn’t acquire some humility at some point, it’ll happen to him too.

Kavos is polarising i dont necessarily like him however he is one of the only people that will call out the most protected youtubers on the platform expecially in the UK ie TheTrueGeordie and Willne. Especially Alex biggest clout chasing backstabber on the platform

The thing is Kavos isn't worried about being hated for going after the big guns of UK yt,when they do something wrong and if he realises he's wrong he'll mention it if he makes a follow up video.I've personally gotten tired of his content but I think he does make good videos on big topics when necessary

A M Is A FlipFlop He talked about the situation but he didn’t take sides. Kavos doesn’t come across as the type of person who would screw someone over, I mean a majority of his success came from keemstar, so I don’t really know why he would go against him. During that situation it was the safest option for him to be neutral especially since during that time people were attacking sponsors.

The difference between what Jack was and what Kavos is now is humour. Jack’s content had humour and was witty even if the video didn’t have the greatest intentions. Kavos comes across hateful and looking to shut people down and as a viewer it’s energy sapping. I think Philip DeFranco has a similar way of presenting fact and then opinion, but his reporting is a lot more general and isn’t constantly negative which is why I enjoy it more.

I actually quite like Kavos. Younger people especially make strong ties with TH-camrs they like so he can be seen as the big bad wolf. If you like imalex or KSI and the sidemen then chances are you hate Kavos.

I think the guy put it very well. There's a line in the sand between fact & opinion, and there's another line between criticising a someone's acts & attacking them directly. Calling someone a cunt because of a thing they did is an opinion, not a fact. You don't know them enough. Or, if you do, you need multiple facts/incidences to prove that point. But breaking down a single act is absolutely fine. I think displaying facts & evidence, then voicing your opinion based on that is absolutely fine. If you don't like it, don't watch commentary channels.

Personally, I think Kavos is absolutely fantastic. Calls it how it is, and doesn't take bullshit from anyone.
I like Kavos a lot. He says what a lot of ppl wont and doesn't give a fuck what ppl think about it. Sure. There's always going to be a little bias and opinion, that's what makes a creator unique. He used to be a little negative, but I think his content has changed a lot over time and his humor has shifted from putting ppl down to just telling it like it is, if that makes sense.

Kavos is one of my favourite youtubers. He basically always provides facts and evidence for what he says, he’s clearly got good morals (at least nowadays and if you disagree you’re either a morally bad person yourself or you simply don’t know/watch him enough) and he interacts a lot with his audience such as talking to them in DMs. He may come across as confrontational, but that’s just because he’s so opposed to people with bad morals and those who make inexcusable mistakes. It’s not starting drama, it’s just holding people accountable for bad things they’ve done and putting it out there publicly

What I was referring to by saying ImAllexx was that in more recent times, Kavos just covers some pointless shit by saying Alex is a horrible person for cutting iNabber out of the new group they made (or whatever the fuck it was) with the excuse of Alex's past actions being why he's a snake and whatnot. (Which of course I feel like saying I am not defending Alex's actions with Slazo, figured i'd tell you outright since you already assumed what best fitted your narrative in your reply to me.)
So basically Kavos can now shit on Alex for minimal thing because he knows his fans will back him if its something against Alex. You wouldn't see him making a video on Memeulous or WillNE (unless they do something really shitty like Alex/Slazo thing) cause he doesn't know how his fans would respond and also if it backfires then he would have massive repercussions from it. If he wanted to he could have made the iNabber out of any one of the 4 people involved, or even just all of them but of course, Alex is an easy target that Kavos' audience will back for those points.
Kavos' best content in recent time is exposing Unbox Therapy, Club Penguin private servers (which I believe SomeOrdinaryGamer made a better video on the topic before Kavos but I can't remember it was a while ago) and videos on Ellen, which of course has good points and all but who really cares about Ellen? Nobody really has an opinion on her so its simple to side with Kavos on that one but oh well.

It seems to me like he just goes after everyone because he isn't focused or specific to one community, like the beauty drama community, or mukbang drama community etc? But it's not exactly different from those channels in terms of how he "calls them out".

@shane m At the time another internet personality ended their own life over backlash so it felt a bit out of order especially as Deji exhibited similar traits to said individual, I cant remember who it was but they were acting very similar. So for that i felt Kavos is out of order. Plus he kept constantly making videos on Deji back to back even though he already exposed him. 1 video is fine but when it gets to like 3 or 4 its borderline bullying. The situation was done by the 2nd video.
