This is great! I am a bit confused on timeline though. Is this the timeline just before Dust's massacre or is it during and Dust just hasn't fully lost it yet?
This is the canon dusttale timeline or almost so.
The player didn’t fall into the underground yet and if you are confused why papyrus isn’t dead because he’s the last person to be killed.
Murder or dust mostly kills him before papyrus notice him.
So papyrus death would be quick and painless.

Well, Dust (or, Murder, as it was his first name, while Dust became canon a while ago, so, he has 2 names within fandom - Murder and Dust. F to Sans) doesn't really have a certain order of killing monsters. If it's his first genocidal reset, I can see, why he would leave Papyrus as the last one. About Alphys and the whole theme of "Can Dust/Murder reach lvl 20?" - yes, he can kill Alphys, along with Asgore and evacuation site, what leads him to lvl 20, while this comic, that we have seen many years ago - isn't a canon. Technically speaking, Dusttale doesn't have a canon comic or a game. It has some novels and "Ask-Dusttale".
Also, about Dust's question "am I doing the right thing?" - he knows, that it's not right, but, he also knows, that nothing else is working against "the human", as he already tried everything that he could within those 300+ resets, when he finally obtained the ability to remember them (he got it through some kind of bug/error/glitch. It wasn't specified, how exactly. But, I think, that Player has hacked some files. Maybe not). And, Murder also knows, that his genocides - are also pointless, even though, they have a little chance of "the human" Leaving his timeline alone. But, because of his mindset of "My efforts are worthless, even if they left - they will come back"...

But, yeah, Murder can get "dull", after killing all of his friends for so long. But, he understood it from the very beginning - his genocides are useless. But, has the highest chance to "stop" "the human".
