The Chicago Bears have been active during the NFL trade deadline the last two seasons, and with Ryan Poles track record as the Bears general manager, it's likely to happen again.
The Chicago Bears have two players they could trade and get key assets for; Starting left guard Teven Jenkins, and running back Khalil Herbert. Both players in the last year of their rookie contracts, could be good rentals for teams that are looking to make a playoff push.
Teven Jenkins, who has been battling injuries, is one of the better guards in the NFL when healthy. He scored over a 71 PFF when playing right guard for the Bears in 2023, which is where he could strive again if put in the right situation. With the emergence of Matt Pryor and Bill Murray, The Bears could be in an interesting situation.
Jenkins could be a solid trade target with the Atlanta Falcons. His former general manger, Ryan Pace, is now with the Falcons and has brought in many former Chicago Bears, could be interested in the former 2nd round pick out of Oklahoma State.
Khalil Herbert, who has not got a lot of playing time this year because of D'Andre Swift and Roschon Johnson taking over most of the touches for The Chicago Bears and Shane Waldron's offense.
Herbert could be trade for a 4th round pick to the Denver Broncos, who are currently the 21st ranked rushing offense, with a shocking record of 3-2 through 5 games.

Fans always over value their team's players. Herbert has no trade value. You'd be lucky to get a 6th or 7th for him. Nobody is trading a 4th for an OG with extensive injury history who is injured year after year and has a low rating this year when he played. We traded a 4th for Keenan Allen. Herbert and Jenkins are players any team can find when drafting using their own 6th rd pick. Need to separate being a fan from the reality of the business aspect.
Agreed, they might get a higher pick if they add some of their lower picks with it. Like player and a 7th for maybe a 4th or 5th.

Agreed. Running backs are a dime a dozen. Herbert is at most worth a 5th to a desperate team.
Both are better to keep compared to the picks we could get for them.

i wish Jenkins could stay healthy. I want to keep him. I've been rooting for him since he was drafted. But it's just hard to keep someone who is injured all the freaking time. Send him to whoever will take him. As for Herbert, he deserves a chance to prove himself. He's a hard hitter who can making defenses pay. Sure, why not Denver? Or Atlanta, I don't care, as long as we can get something of value. And if both of these players need to included in a package deal, so be it. Include Homer if they need (I don't see why he's even on our roster to begin with). But change needs to come.

Bears might get a late rd pick for Herbert ( I say Dallas) I would keep Tevin Jenkins a quality guard is hard to fine even if does miss too much time due to injuries and as always FGB!!

I hope the Bears are really trying to shore up that offensive line issues. Their record is any should be at least 4-1. Definitely have they should've won. Need to Definitely get that win against the Jaguars so they can go into the bye week with a win and momentum

I don't see it being Jenkins. There are a few teams dying for guards due to injuries. I can see Nate Davis getting shipped out
I think getting rid of Davis would help out the locker room. We don't need his bad ju-ju.

So I think the Khalil Herbert trade is the most likely to get done. As good as Jenkins is, he has that injury history that I think would prevent that trade from happening as well as the Herbert and Jenkins trade. Plus, I don’t think Atlanta would even touch Herbert right now. No motivation no need. I have been wanting the Bears to trade Herbert since preseason. If they keep not playing him like you said, it just keeps hurting his value. Trade him now well, we can still get something for him.

They are depth today. If anyone gets hurt you need them. You only make these trades if you're not counting on winning this year. Too early to expect to fail.

KH , Is worth keeping to cover an injury to one of our other Backs . As far as TJ is concerned he can’t stay Healthy “ PLAIN & SIMPLE “ I was One Fan that was concerned about OL from the start ! So you wouldn’t get Shit for him so you have to keep him and only hope he can heal up and play better and move him to another position where he plays better? And by all means Keep our Draft Capital in next years Draft .

I think jenkins is worth hanging on to. It’s still early in the season and I think he can still turn things around. I’m completely in on trading Herbert. Would love to trade the bengals Herbert (Jenkins to if need be) for Henderson. This would solidify the defense and allow next offseason to be all about the offensive line 🐻⬇️ FGB

I doubt trading Tevin or Khalil make sense if they hope to win this year. The only trade will be for a draft pick.
But if they don't plan on resigning them, why keep them?

I am noticing in many of your trade idea videos that you're just way too optimistic. Herbert was drafted in the 6th round! Who's gonna trade a 3rd or 4th for him? With little production? Just doesn't make any sense.
Motto of the channel; "Optimistic channel for optimistic fans". Remember too, you're dealing with Ryan Pace who always paid too much, and a Broncos team that was willing to pay dead cap on Russ.

you're crazy if you think Herbert doesn't have any trade value the thing is the Bears are smart they're not trying to get our second best running back injured for nothing when DeAndre Swift goes down I guarantee you it will be Khalil Herbert taking his place actually very smart not to get Tyler Scott or Khalil Herbert injured so long season and they are playing it right

I don't recall him ever playing LT. But I know he's played RG and RT
I'd have to disagree. Statistically, his RT. Guard grades are higher. Either way, you don't trade away a player of Tevin's caliber.
