I lost my father December 20 2023 I never thought it would end this way he wasn’t the best father but he was my father and I loved him he wasn’t the best role model but I hope one day I make him proud
@@CrispyChips007 Right 😭 Honestly I feel like group reactions kill the emotional moments of movies sometimes, because there's too many people talking over scenes
One of the most underrated MCU movies. The exchange between Rocket and Yondu was deep same with Yondu telling Peter "He may have been your father, boy. But he wasn't your daddy." Easily one of the deepest quotes in any MCU movie I’ve watched, and I love how it portrayed that family is more than just blood. Yondu was the MVP this entire movie.
Drax and Gamora actually have a better physiology than humans or super soldiers, they are more strong that Captain America, it doesn't seem like because they fight aliens, some gigantic, but they are.
Gamora is actually one of the best fighters in all of Marvel in the comics, and her physical stats are on par with Spider-Man. Drax in the comics was strong enough to box with Thor and Silver Surfer who was amped up with the Power Cosmic. Movies just happened to nerf their characters heavily. Someone like Drax is a Hulk tier opponent since he was designed to kill Thanos, and Gamora is basically Black Widow on alien steroids.
@@saiyanobe23g6 I wouldn't say that Gamora is Spider Man level, I guess that depends, he can lift some heavy shit in some stories. Drax sure can do that, but doesn't mean that he is stronger, I don't think that he could beat Hulk because Hulk grows strength. I think that the ranking should be: Gamora, Drax, Spider Man, Thor and Hulk. They all have "supernatural strength", which ranges from lifting cars to mountains, and maybe after planets and so on, that's why Hulk is on last. Super Soldiers on another hand, have "Enhanced Strength", which would allow us to lift 2x or 3x times what the strongest human irl could lift. Which is funny, because it's possible, and "supernatural" basically is "beyond natural".
In the comic books the guardians are more powerful but here are some basic levels for the MCU. This movie take place in 2014 at least two months after the first movie so at this time during the Captain America the Winter soldier his strength was at maximum output 9 tons with Gamora strength being twice Steve's at this time and Drax strength being five times gamora's. It really shows you how strong Ronin the villain from the first movie was compared to drax and that's why he made him seem so weak. Rocket rocket is smarter than Tony Stark and has better technology. Groot died in the first movie baby Groot is his son who is 2 months old by this movie timeline.
In the comics there are dozens of different guardians. We see some in the end of gotg3 as cameos. Its just that this particular group is not that powerfull but the director wanted it that way. Also they nerfed drax and gamora hella
