Fury Road is the perfect action movie. No pointless dialog, amazing spectacles, compelling movement from one scene to next, awesome stunt work, and of course the ridiculously magnificent soundtrack.

When you first start it can be a bit meandering. The first 5 or so hours of the game has the same issue Assassins Creed games have now days. So many points on the map of interest that you have to do. You start the game with a gang stealing your car so you have to spend the early hours making a new one and gather parts. Once you get past those 5 or so hours its really fun. your car can actually handle encounters, the driving gets better, you unlock more take-downs for hand-to-hand and vehicular combat and your wrench monkey is riding in the back at all times like your hype man and keeps gameplay fun and interesting. I'm only half way through it and still have SO MUCH to do. If i had to grade it, i would give it a STRONG "8 out of 10". Its not perfect, it can be grindy at times, but when it finds that sweet spot, its VERY FUN! I would say pick it up on sale. I got mine for 5$ on steam around Christmas time. This song is perfect for the movie. It blends with the action (which never stops) but there is also a painful undercurrent to the melody (especially in the latter half) that makes you realize that all these people, more than just good or evil, are all just horribly desperate for some semblance of health and normality.

My name is Max. My world is fire and blood. Once I was a cop, a road warrior searching for a righteous path. As the world fell each of us in our own way was broken. It was hard to tell who was more crazy, me or everyone else. Here they come again, worming their way into the black matter of my brain. I tell myself they cannot touch me, they are long dead. I am the one who runs from both the living and the dead, hunted by scavengers and haunted by those I could not protect. So I exist in this wastelad, a man reduced to a single instinct. Survive.
You can tell this was written for an older man as Max. We start the movie with him being haunted by those he could not protect. Him wishing they could protect themselves so he could be free. Then he meets Furiosa and her group. He needed to save her by helping her save herself. In his mind he would not do it himself and free himself. He could run away. But feel the guilt of not being able to help. It's so complex. Part of him didn't want the responsibility, but destiny gave him a chance to do both. In the end he left her in the top position, but he chose to keep running from himself. Too bad Mel Gibson went all crazy or it would have been a perfect ending for the series. Not that Tom did a bad job or anything.

Excited to see what he does with the League. Based on the snippets that have been released, they don't sound as good as his other work, except for the re-master of 'Arcade', which is AMAZING.
I literally thought that several times after seeing Furiosa at the cinema tonight. It had the same desolate mood, same tonal progressions, same sounds going on, but just never got as excited as Fury Road. Exactly like the film it scored.
"My life fades. The vision dims. All that remains are memories. I remember a time of chaos... ruined dreams... this wasted land. But most of all, I remember The Road Warrior. The man we called "Max." To understand who he was, you have to go back to another time... when the world was powered by the black fuel... and the desert sprouted great cities of pipe and steel. Gone now... swept away. "
"For reasons long forgotten, two mighty warrior tribes went to war and touched off a blaze which engulfed them all. Without fuel they were nothing. They'd built a house of straw. The thundering machines sputtered and stopped. Their leaders talked and talked and talked, but nothing could stem the avalanche. Their world crumbled. Cities exploded - a whirlwind of looting, a firestorm of fear. Men began to feed on men. On the roads it was a white-line nightmare. Only those mobile enough to scavenge, brutal enough to pillage would survive. The gangs took over the highways, ready to wage war for a tank of juice, and in this maelstrom of decay ordinary men were battered and smashed - men like Max, the warrior Max. In the roar of an engine, he lost everything and became a shell of a man, a burnt-out desolate man, a man haunted by the demons of his past, a man who wandered out into the wasteland. And it was here, in this blighted place, that he learned to live again."
Before i discovered gi joe, or transformers, or ninja turtles, these were the words that opened the film that absolutely captivated my imagination, then, now, and for all time.
I remember watching the 2017 Oscars where Roger Deakins was nominated for best cinematography for Blade Runner 2049. I told everyone watching it, even amongst a large crowd of people at a viewing party "I don't care who wins any award this year apart from cinematography. If Roger Deakins doesn't win, they should burn this entire place to the ground." To their credit, they gave him his prize. So they're not always bad. They are predictable to a fault, though.
This movie was, like, the perfect incarnation of everything Mad Max wanted to be as a movie franchise. It's as if the three movies that came before were a proof of concept and this was the ultimate realisation of that.
I seen this movie for the first time last week and I couldn’t believe what I saw... such an amazing piece of work right here absolutely love Tom Hardy as an actor And when I heard 3:00 come on during the chase sequence my mouth dropped thank you so much Junkie XL for an amazing score to this amazing movie

I feel like people don't appreciate the sadness and emotional depth of the Mad Max: Fury Road soundtrack, especially in Brothers in Arms. There's an aching humanity to the last half of that song's every breath that grows more and more tragic every second.

John wick as badass as he is wouldn't survive fury road its on a whole new level I can see It now he would get killed by a suicide warboy look how crazy they got in furiosa like seriously again fury road is a whole different level and to understand that wick is in a world where just a gunshot or a fight every one scatters and second he's usually fighting guys in smaller numbers who are not completely insane and are not trying to die warboys on the other hand have proven time and time again they are not afraid to die and the vast numbers would outnumber small buildings
Farrell Helios me too my friend I actually just saw it for the first time last week I can’t believe I never seen it until now it’s in my top 3 favorite movies for sure now
Great balance between the madness and the beauty, first you hear the madness of the wastes and the people who rule it, then you hear the beauty of the unity between the people who cone together to fight that madness.

Based on the snippets that have been released, they don't sound as good as his other work, except for the re-master of 'Arcade', which is AMAZING.
This is what old people hear when they play bingo
what?
Clasical music :D
i guess that explains why they love playing it
best comment of the world
@Nick Stoliaroff It's what they hear when they managed to escape the retirement home, waiting at the bus station outside.
One of the best movies ever
It’s sad that Furiosa’s soundtracks aren’t as impactful as ones in Fury Road.
The movie itself about Furiosa is frankly weaker than Fury Road!
True. Different tone of film though.
So true.
I literally thought that several times after seeing Furiosa at the cinema tonight. It had the same desolate mood, same tonal progressions, same sounds going on, but just never got as excited as Fury Road. Exactly like the film it scored.
There basically was no music the first hour
This plays in stores when people are fighting for toilet paper
hah
Perfect.. I should have been there..
Why toilet paper? Why THIS virus? Not swine flu, SARS (pro tip this is a SARS virus
) Why can you get over the 2016 election.....
good music and good place
Saul Rodriguez 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
"My life fades. The vision dims. All that remains are memories. I remember a time of chaos... ruined dreams... this wasted land. But most of all, I remember The Road Warrior. The man we called "Max." To understand who he was, you have to go back to another time... when the world was powered by the black fuel... and the desert sprouted great cities of pipe and steel. Gone now... swept away. "
Entendi la referencia :v
That was awesome soundtrack ever
Bike scene at its finest from the movie!
Still best movie till now , no movie can compare to its legacy and post apocalipse theme. 2023

One of the best movies ever made and with an impeccable soundtrack!
How did this not win best film, director and soundtrack I will never know, the oscars are a waste.
I remember watching the 2017 Oscars where Roger Deakins was nominated for best cinematography for Blade Runner 2049. I told everyone watching it, even amongst a large crowd of people at a viewing party "I don't care who wins any award this year apart from cinematography. If Roger Deakins doesn't win, they should burn this entire place to the ground."
To their credit, they gave him his prize. So they're not always bad. They are predictable to a fault, though.
The madness for me starts at 2:15
Yes the best part
It's 2020, this music perfectly fits the chaos I've seen since the beginning of this year
most epic sandwich i ever made.

I gave you the 300th like.
This soundtrack is so intense. It has such depths to it. I just can't get out of it's loop.
Rishabh Asthana yeah right
*intense
💯
why am i getting so emotional over this, why am i damn near moved to tears... and why do i feel that there is still hope for me?
Live an epic life,
Or die as a legend
BECAUSE THERE IS, BROTHER OR SISTER, THERE IS HOPE
If I gonna die, I gonna die historically on the fury road
WITNESS HIM!
Hope is a mistake. If you can’t fix what’s broken, you’ll go insane.
-Max Rockatansky The Road Warrior
This movie was, like, the perfect incarnation of everything Mad Max wanted to be as a movie franchise. It's as if the three movies that came before were a proof of concept and this was the ultimate realisation of that.
Best action film of all time and maybe the best accompanying film score. Looking forward to seeing what Tom has in store for Furiosa.

Everything you wrote is true. Its a tremendous movie , an hymn in an area with mediocre action movies with just explosions and stuff. Hail Tom Holkenborg the GRANDE junkie XL !
I feel like people don't appreciate the sadness and emotional depth of the Mad Max: Fury Road soundtrack, especially in Brothers in Arms.
There's an aching humanity to the last half of that song's every breath that grows more and more tragic every second.
You can definitely feel it this song plays when the main villian is losing everything he built + his future heirs
@@bradwelker5726 there’s also so much hope, for the oppressed to build a better future
"It was hard to know who was more crazy... me or everyone else."
That about sums up 2020 for me.
These drummers! these drummers! Go go go...just love it!
there weren't ant drummers it was done by Junkie XL by himself
I'm still kickin myself i didnt see this in the cinema, i saw Furiosa yesterday which was ok but didn't come close to Fury Road
Ikr! If they had used this in furiosa, it would be instant awards!!
@@MrTsubasa00 I agree.
@@MrTsubasa00It was in furiosa if im not mistaken
Best scene with the best ost. Made the hair stand up..
Give this music Oscar every year repeatedly till the end of world
Brothers in Arms es un tema majestuoso el tema comienza de una manera ruda y después se va volviendo cada vez más relajado y melancólico este soundtrack representa lo qué es Mad Max a la perfección Junkie XL hizo un gran trabajo.
look at them. so shiny. so chrome.

The best Action movie I have ever seen so far
One of the most epic movies and soundtrack ever exist
one of the best arrangements of the year on release. Still holds its own today.. class!
Saw the movie, few hours later this track was playing in my head , had to be here listening. Just Epic.
The Raid: Redemption, John Wick and Mad Max: Fury Road
The holy trinity of action cinema
Yes absolutely
The Raid is so good 👍🏽
Not in the level of Fury Road.
Hard Boiled, Die Hard and T2 still hold that title.
Incredible.. I fell in love with this soundrack
That weird sparky sound 0:11 sounds so lit🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
be honest 3:05 is the moment we all wanted
The whole song is fantastic
what a lovely day!
I’ll see your 3:05 and raise you 4:19

The score of Justice League came out today, and i so happy, because Junkie XL is great composer.

Started playing this while I was doing errands. Wyoming doesn't exist anymore.
What's a Wyoming?
trick question, Wyoming didn't exist in the first place, it was a lie created by the government to make the Louisiana purchases seem more worth it
Great balance between the madness and the beauty, first you hear the madness of the wastes and the people who rule it, then you hear the beauty of the unity between the people who cone together to fight that madness.

First time I watched Fury Road I didn't care much for it. I think it was because I just couldn't process how good it was. The film, and yes, I consider it a "film" is a masterpiece and one of the greatest films ever made IMO
I have to say I was very positively surprised by the whole soundtrack. Not only 6/5 visual and madness aspects, but holy fucking shit, this soundtrack fits so well

This movie gave me hope for modern cinema and that not everything today needs to be another superhero movie, seriously I'm sick and tired of superhero movies.
I love superhero movies (well the Marvel ones anyway) but MM:FR was awesome and a welcome change. In a time of bad remakes, this one deserves a sequel.
TheShreester Mad Max isn't a remake my friend. It is part of the Mad Max series. It takes place after the horrible thunderdome movie
I didn't realise it was a continuation as I think I've only seen the first three but given that it's a new Max it feels like reboot.
@ExtremeCynic true
You're in trouble then, it took ten years after principle photography had wrapped before they were able to complete and release the film
Mad Max deserves more films.
Mel Gibson needs to come back for last hurrah
No, with the amount of franchises being ruined, I would rather it be left alone.
This is the most epic movie score ever. Change my mind!
