The no more doom scrolling is a big one for me! I still want to be informed but I’m no longer checking the news every single day, instead once a week. And tbh it’s been so nice I want to change it to once a month lol
That’s amazing!! Ya I completely understand, the news can be upsetting most of the time so I had to stop watching it so often as well. Good to stay updated but too much of the news makes me sad😓
The crochet club idea is so wholesome. I've just put a bookclub together with some friends and I can say, for sure, that group hobbies are so motivating 🌟 Keep going!
That’s so fun!! I’ve been thinking about a book club too, seems so cute that you all get to read the same book and enjoy chatting about it too!! Thank you so much for your comment 💕🫶🏼
1) Loving the way you parted your fringe in this x 2) feeling very inspired by your financial glow-up with my wedding this year ($$), especially your 12-item challenge! Can't wait for that video
Yay!! Thank you so much!! And congratulations on your wedding this year, that is so exciting!! The financial glow up is the most important for me haha video coming this Friday!! 💕🫶🏼
Sameee I feel you on the dinner thing. When my husband asked me, I brightly ask him. “What do you want?” Or “what were you thinking?” So it’s back on him 😂
Ooo if you enjoy historical fiction, check out the rose code! SO good about women codebreakers in WWII. I read it when it first came out and it still lives rent free in my head!
Some really interesting true WW2 books I've read are They Fought Alone: It's about British agents setting up and operating the French Resistance Courage and Defiance. It follows the Partisan movement in Denmark; they were taken over in a day, so it was super weird for everyone involved. The Splendid and the Vile: It follows Churchill and how his cabinet handled preparing and keeping the UK together through the Blitz. I know Churchill is a controversial figure, but I still see him as a hero of WW2. I don't think that necessarily makes someone a good person to cleanse the slate, though. Big fan of your videos, though. They're more simple and calming. Voice has a soothing cadence as well :)
