I bought a used Oliver Elite II and this was very helpful. While some things have changed since my trailer was built, a lot is the same. I never had a walkthrough and this is great. Keep putting out content Oliver!
This trailer would be PERFECT if they changed the floorpan slightly or offered a new one. Specifically here's what I would love to see: 1. Full time queen bed at the front or back running the width of the trailer (then you don't have to make it longer) 2. Oven/range combo unit with a 3-burner cook-top like you see in so many other nice trailers. 3. Flush mount/undermount sink 4. U-shaped dinette at the end opposite the bed that more than two people can sit at that turns into another decent sized bed for an adult or a couple kids. 5. I hope you will consider putting a larger fridge in these! This one is TINY. Plenty of room here for a 6 cu. ft fridge with separate freezer. 7 cu. ft would be even better. 6. A dry bath would be spectacular but you'd have to come out with a longer trailer to pull it off. If this unit had the wet bath and all the layout options above, I'd still go buy it right now. As it is, I'm probably leaning towards the Escape 21NE with the oven option which is essentially the trailer I just described. Or maybe I'll wait to see what their E23 with the dry bath looks like when it comes out. Escape isn't quite as well made and definitely lacks the strong winterizing of Oliver but the floor plan is essential to get right for us.
Most professional, step by step, fully shown use and functioning of gear I have ever viewed. Jason your demonstration will literally sell these well built designed units. Your suggestions and real life applications appreciated. Can't wait to see the creative upgrades Oliver will implement to stay ahead of all other competitors. My thanks and appreciation to all the employees who make these the trailers all other builders hope to build. Take pride in these units builders, your customers speak well of your efforts on their behalf. Best regards to all of the Oliver crew. Made in the USA by quality craftsmen and women. I would suggest to company to have each trailer with a medallion showing names of crew who participated in building the unit. Saving up to purchase an Oliver.
Spare tire and the tire cover is there a way to lock them? If not, maybe you can drill a hole in each of the studs so an owner can add a padlock, if desired. Thanks
Great video! The only negative point on this rig is the small fridge. A bigger fridge will be nice to have. Suggestion: the Elite 11 with the back roun table option, why keeping the small table and have a bigger fridge at this location?
I love theses trailers. BUT, DO NOT fall behind in the market. Make sure the technology keeps up to date. Unfortunately Artic Fox, Northern Lite, Airstream and others don’t offer wanted options. 😬 Examples of cassette toilets, solar options, Tankless water heaters. Exterior 12 volt connections…. If you offered new updates I would buy one tomorrow 💪🏼👍🏼🇺🇸🙏🏼
@51:12 Those exposed hooks that hold the table in place would really hurt a little kid who would be sleeping there. Oliver should think of some kind of shroud or cover for those. Maybe I am just being paranoid?
I really like the quality of these trailers. We currently own a traditional fifth wheel but we’re looking to downsize. I can live with most of the compromises in this floorplan but for the premium price tag, not having a full-sized refrigerator is a show stopper for for us. This would take us back to our popup camper days in terms of the refrigerator capacity. If they can custom manufacture one with a full size 2-way or 12 volt compressor fridge with the microwave deleted, that would solve my issue.
Is the cover to the propane tanks high enough to accommodate a 40 pound tank? Have the holding tanks on the Elite II been increased over the Elite’s standard size or are they still the same on the larger unit? Is it possible yet to have the shades installed upside down? Meaning to have the blackout shade come up from the bottom, and the thin shade come down from the top?
I was looking at that too.. To me, it looks like they'd fit height wise, however that threaded rod tie down doesn't appear to be long enough for a 40. Probably an easy owner mod.
I wonder what weight the steps are rated for. I have a very large friend. No night shade on the bathroom window. That is a negative. What are the dimensions of the dinette bed? It would be nice to incorporate a scale inhibition system.
No matter what the manufacturer states, a very heavy person should never go inside a travel trailer. My family owns numerous mobile homes. We also provide travel trailer slots. Heavy people can cause massive damage to both.

I can't believe in 2022 almost 2023 the heater still vents to the outside premium seating position (under the awning) I mean C'mon man!!

In future you might want to start with some of the more important aspects and then work your way out to the peripheral, a jack is peripheral
