Definitely looking forward to seeing strats on Amius and the double bosses holding the keys. Didn't have any trouble with my 8 keys on hard this morning, 100% F2P going on 3.5 years of pretty casual playtime here. The only thing I see being very difficult is the 'Awakened' rooms later on requiring 20* of Awakening, which I'm almost positive I couldn't do with any combination of 5 champs on my account, soul pulls have not been kind to me at all. Overall I feel the same as you Nub, it's pretty cool looking new content, I'm enjoying it so far and will do what I'm capable of doing and be fine with that. Not gonna worry about hitting a pay wall or complaining about it here.

Agreed. This is definitely a PTW update. I wouldnt mind running the normal difficulty. But the rewards are complete ass for anyone at lv 54+. It like hard mode or no mode. They will probably cut back the requirements when the playerbase dips again
I level 58 f2p and don't have hardly any of the people it needs in most rooms except rares lol they should take that requirement off that's stupid
@@michaelcrabtree7919 they should increase the normal stage rewards, hard Mode is good as it is, it should be hard, but in a different way than other content
@@Jeff0608 Level 58 is Nothing, iam 82 and can do some hardmode, but hard is more endgame, so Yeah, normal should be your goal and Mine too
@@Jeff0608 So they should remove the requirements cuz ppl who are f2p and barely above unlock requirements dont have enough champs to clear? The whole point is to motivate players to get and build champs so they can clear this new content. Lvl 58 is pretty low so you have a lot ahead of you. You will gain champs with time. If you cant do the new content then you go back to the old content and improve your acc. There is no rush so dont get frustrated if you cant insta clear everything. Im also fully f2p btw so its not like my acc is stacked but I manage. Just be patient, no need to rush
Just a fyi. You can get the red keys on normal too. I've already figured out the quickest path to 3 keys. I'll have them in 3 4 days.
You should've went to c18 hard lol. So when you get the other 2 keys on normal, you're one away from the last boss.
I’m not sure the keys are interchangeable between difficulties. I got one red key on hard but when I change to normal it shows I have zero red keys. You probably already knew that, but in case not.

@@chaunerickson4130 I just checked. When I switch between modes I have 0/3 keys on normal and 1/3 keys on hard. You might check on your side, but on mine they are separate

and it's such a let down... plarium took the easy way out and gave us cookie cutter content but limited our champ pool instead of innovating creative ways to bring challenge and difficulty for all players.

Hopefully they make a new set called Cursed Iron and the narrator can go ham introducing it. lol
I liked this more than I thought I would. It actually shows I need to develop more different champs, etc., so more goals in the game. I was sad when I used up my keys for the day, so waiting for the next. It will be hard, but definitely something we can all work at.
For content I beliеve the best choice will be to get the 3 keys first, kill the main boss and then start doing the rest of the rooms.

I have to remember that those first bosses are a bit easier... I was having a little trouble with agreth when i was trying to follow the mechanics but I ended up just bringing nukers and a burner and it ended up working much better.
I was surprised how unprepared I was for the first Bommel. My current account is just under a year old and it shows I need to add depth to my roster, this bodes well for giving people more to aim for and a reason to level a more varied group of champions.
You listed using Oella, is it confirmed hat dungeon auras work here? I must have missed that somewhere.
One thing is good ypu can theory crafting all stages till you get there ,and start working 0otentially on the champs that you need,i think it is a great addition to the game tbh
The issue occurs for accounts like mine, where I dont even have 5 60s for most of the stages, this is the only content I can't do, except sand devil, the final stages of hard FK and IG and Nightmare hydra, but i still dont have nearly the depth of champions to even get 5 60s in most stages, thats fine for the waves, but for any boss that requires thought, it makes it impossible
The first Bommal was easy with nukers. Nether spider without heal reduction is extremely difficult, I got close but it healed up to max twice before the team failed.
This is just campain V2, early stages are a rope a dope, we'll hit roadblocks soon enough. Still nice to get extra free sources for energy.
Wait, didnt they say a new difficulty would be coming to hydra a while ago? Where is that? Havent heard anything about it

Haha you can breeze through it all, my roster is not big and good enough to deal with all the team restrictions against bosses.
Guess I'll try getting through normal first, hopefully it'll work out.
I'm any case, I still haven't beaten any DT hard rotation, so I've got loads of work ahead of me anyway.
It's easy if you actually have a big roster of rank 6 legendaries, I've beaten all of doom Tower (bar secret rooms) but I can't even get close to doing Bommal or nether spider with those kind of restrictions
@@elfishmoss1457 to be fair, I also agree that this new game mode should be a challenge for end game players, otherwise what's the point? Normal has less restrictions so if I can play a good chunk of that for now I'll be good.
Just run hard as much as possible. Once ur stuck, switch to Normal mode while building up new champs to push Hard even further on the side. Once ur stuck, repeat and go back to normal. No reason to do Normal 1st. U wont know what u need to build otherwise

Hey Nubs - Good to see u mate, Hey when this place opened - I entered into it it as we all did but I am complaining - It should have renewed my keys as usual the next day when I logged in but I am still waiting at 10:45 at night and have still NOT HAD MY KEYS RENEWED - THIS IS A 💩💩💩💩SYSTEM
I started my run not realizing I used all of my keys on hard thinking it was normal.
if you can do some on hard, it is mostly better to do those first so if you get stuck somewhere, you have some time to maybe change some champions while doing the easier ones on normal. we don't need to farm the bosses, so it does not matter which ones we do first as long as we manage to use all keys daily
I enjoy this update purely because it allows me to use some of my vaulted champions that were worthless before.
I took the mid lane and dis the dual bosses.need some mythic lethal gear

The Cursed City starts off easier than Doom Tower than I expected. I think once players get used to it, I can see Brutal, NM, And UNM in the future. I haven't completed all my FW, Campaigns, Dungeons, and Doom Tower yet. This Cursed City will take a long time to complete with all the daily/weekly/monthly events, tournaments, and CVC taking away your playtime or focus.
Do we have enough time to clear normal city and hard city?
yes you will :) I think if you logged in everyday and used all keys each day, you would have around 40 left over (5 days worth). It would be a lot but you can definitely do it!
i dont know, do you have a job? a life? what about 5 months from now? you still want to log in to complete these stages one at a time with no quick way to get through it once you have it on farm? the implementation of this content is botched and the added time requirement with no time saving quality of life in other areas is frustrating and disappointing. but to answer your question yes you can clear two versions of sintranos with the available keys, not sure what happens if they actually add another difficulty though. still waiting on that hydra difficulty upgrade lol

I love Nub a lot, but he suffers from what all CC's do, and that's a lack of perspective. How many accounts have 100's of 6 stars and 21m power? The difficulty is going to come in with both ascension and roster depth (which is awesome btw). It's not his fault, but all the CC's seem to be missing the point besides maybe Mad Capper.
You need healing reduction on last boss. You have morrigain shes mvp for that

I listened to Arbiter then started. I managed to clear content including Bommel and the spider then realized it was on hard instead of normal. WTF!
I feel like they should've made something farmable for player who get stuck very soon, that way new players can still use keys everyday even tho they cant progress further

I like the rewards, I like the path strategizing, but recycling old bosses and making this a "doom tower boss secret room" spoils it a bit for me.

Wow... Some people are very easily pleased. This "new" content is boring, nothing new or innovative, just doom tower but bigger with double boss fights. What's so great about it?
I dont have 75% of the champs needed so i need to build teams and new strategies so much fun. Some people are never happy

How this company managed to produce this fame in the first place is beyond me since they only live off the 1 time genius strike, for example 'wait for champion balance until January, but before that we can nerf to rares' that won't have to wait...

So if you are missing just one single stage per rotation, it will take you a year to get the mythical… The way they split up the candles is dumb. If you beat 50 or 100 stages gives you the same amount towards the mythical.
That gives you something to work towards. Games should be hard and not achievable for months

Both pronunciations are acceptable. Suffice to say "Curs-ed city " (pronounced kɜːrsɪd) In this example, (the word used in the attributive sense), works perfectly to describe the core "attribute" or even adoptive "name" of the city. Used in front of "city" sounds pleasing and flows well. if using the same word, in a non-predicative sense (but still attributive), we might say "The city is cursed" (kɜːrst). (Pronunciation change for the sake of syllabic flow). Hope that makes sense. I'm not an english major, but I do remember some professor's commentaries. And, as I've been speaking and writing the language (mostly correctly i hope lol) for many years, the tried and true "does it sound right?" measuring stick has been a spot on indication in 99% of cases.
Hell i cant make it past most yes i used my 8 keys today but there rooms i lost in were to things i didnt have and if i did there all rares with nothing on them i think normal should let you use whoever not still restrict big L on this by plarium
As usual content creators breeze through on hard and I haven't got the depth to get anywhere.
I can do the normal stages. Bosses are impossible so far.
Im not a content creator and i can confirm the 1st 8 keys were just as easy for me. Might be a gear issue in ur case if ur struggling. 200-300 speeds on all champs minimum
@@dividendapacolypse6060 My fastest champ has around 140 speed, and their average speed is around 120. How do you get speed to 200?
@Lawliet734 oh that's pretty low. It takes time. Every champion I build is always above 200. It just kinda happens. My slowest champs are nukers at around 180speed.
Most gear without speed sub stats might be trash, u might be leveling a bunch of bad gear maybe.
@@dividendapacolypse6060 Sun Wukong is my fastest champ. His speed is 142 with a base speed of 105. His highest single speed substat is 13, from a rare 4-star boot. That's as good as it gets for me, given I don't spend any money. Do you spend money on this game, and if so, how much do you spend and on what?
Its a big L for me the requirements even on normal only krakens and content creators will do this
I can't stand the champ restrictions. I'm basically allowed no nukers for bommel. Too hard too fast. Can't enjoy the content if you can't play it due to gimmicky restrictions.
so 6 months from now after you have collected the mythic champion are you still gonna want to come in here and clear stages one at a time. at least for doom tower they added the auto climb feature eventually. the daily time commitment for this content is frustrating and tone deaf when the community is literally screaming for time saving quality of life improvements. the goals of Plarium are so at odds with the aims of the player base i don't see the game improving over the long term.
This is Lipstick on a Pig. There is no new content here. We have faced these same circumstances in special rooms in the doom tower and in special tournaments during the past year. To call this " The biggest thing since Doom Tower" is a joke.
I think this new mode is fine. The rewards for it are actually End Game worthy. The sets, the drops, the mythic summons, and a free mythical?!
Theres only so much u cam do with a game like this for strategy. Maybe the next big mode wont allow u to re-use champions or gear, forcing u to use weaker champs to save the better champs for harder bosses.
Yeah maybe Plariums antics have annoyed you so much you have lost perspective. It’s good rewards, different dynamics, accessible to different levels, utilizes a range of champions and gives a chance to pull a mythical.
If i was you I’d quit and play a different game as you seem to get no enjoyment from it and just want to be negative. That’s not healthy

This game mode is absolutely fantastic. It requires so much more to do in terms of what champs you’ll need to rank up now. I am thinking even rares will help you now.
Exactly! I was expecting 3rd person mode, base building and some FPS pvp. Stupid mobile game being all lame and sheit.
So many new player cry babies that think they should be able to steam roll all the new content without issue.
