From one Amazon shopper to another, 20£ is certainly cheaper than a divorce. The bed is really a necessity. We never get over being a mother, regardless of age. He needed a bed! Please don’t disappear in March.
Definitely not cheating, some things are just easier to get online. Have to say I actually stopped myself from getting some phone straps on that wonderful website because I really do not need them. Thanks Valerie! De-clutter well...... it is very slow in process although I did sort my craft room out and got rid of a LOT of stuff and it felt so good.

My thought on this is to cut back on unnecessary extras, like craft supplies or silly gadgets when we can make do with what we have. I think you're being a good and caring mom to get him the bed! Maybe I should get some nose strips, too, as sometime my hubby comes downstairs to sleep because I'm snoring. 😳
UGH! I am going to start again and call it miserly March. I just purchased a new car. Not that I needed one, but here it is, sitting in my driveway. I wanted to give my pickup truck to my son, but he didn't want it, so now I have a new car and an old truck. I can't spend any more money. The bed you bought for Brandon is fine. One day, after he moves out, your granddaughter may stay overnight. You can't have her sleeping on a flimsy mattress.
Ok. So I tried and failed at Frugal February. 😢 I was trying to come up with a name for March so I could try again and Deborah did it! Thank you. I know I blew it, but I wont buy anything else in February and I WILL SUCCEED IN MARCH!! (God willing…)
So not cheating. Me on the other hand I have done so badly hehe. I got 2 yes 2 orders of nail polish do I didnt need then and some nail vinyls and 2 plants. And a book which was 2nd hand and cheap But next week is the happiest day of the year so needed a new frying pan and all the ridiculous stuff I feel I need for pancake day. Its a huge event in my house. But I have been trying. I like the declutter challenge. After the excitement of pancake day had passed and trying to burn off the amount of fat I've gained will help clearing the house. Great video have fun. Free fun hehe
In my opinion you did not cheat. A bed is not an item that is put away and not used alot. It will be used daily for awhile. I am trying to stay on track. But it's so hard when an item pops up that you're waiting for. And it's on sale!!! I told myself that I will get it in April lol. God bless you and your family.

In my opinion, both the nose strips and bed for Brandon were necessities. I think you've done well, Val! Perhaps you can sell the bed after Brandon has found a flat and moved? I've done some online window shopping and been tempted occasionally, but have resisted buying.

Hahaha! I like your thinking. I need a plan though, because that bed is cluttering up my craft room. We have no room anywhere else in the house. When Brandon moves out my options are to craft in a tiny space, or to get rid of it. 🤔
The bed is ok plus it’s not personal money plus that’s why you have kids is to look after them . I’ve bought an expensive for me perfume for my birthday as I had a discount code and all the money left in my craft account that I’ve earnt from fairs has gone on some second hand dog figurines that hubby wanted more than me but then again I’ve only spent maybe £20 worth of my earnings on me from Christmas craft fairs the rest of the £300ish has gone on hubby and the dogs! Oh I did get a pair of gloves thinking I was treating myself only to find I had an Etsy voucher from Christmas so hey free gloves! I do feel a pressure to not spend as hubby buys stuff to help his mood and with his dad dying and his mum breaking her hip why shouldn’t he rest himself xx

I have something akin to sleep Apnoea but after two sleep studies I am still being told I don't qualify for a CPAP machine. I do wake up refreshed and despite my snoring I don't think I have the same experiences as friends who do have Apnoea. It sucks to snore though and with my type two diabetes and high BP... Let's face it I am doomed. 😳🤣
Neither is cheating at all. I did give little bit to my grandson to pay for his purchase as he was short so I spent nine dollars today. For purchases for myself or for the house I have spent nothing. I’ve just spent on groceries and bills. If a person didn’t have to eat or pay for utilities just think of the silly spending we could do lol. For decluttering I’m a total failure on that. I think about it but that’s as far as it goes. I must put in a better effort as I know when I get motivated I can experience a huge success. Take care.

Nose strips do open your nostrils... They help, they're not a miracle. Certainly give them a try!
