I LOVE this piece! I’ve been to ninny’s napkins often but because of shipping costs have never ordered. I just can’t pay that much for napkins!! They are gorgeous though. This journal cover is amazing! Going to look at your links now and try to find the spiral bound journals. I must give something like this a try! Karen Burchill Thanks! I get plenty (have) from Tuesday Morning here. Don’t generally like the dollar store ones because they only have print on the front fold of the napkin. Plus our dollar stores don’t have a great selection. I’ll look for the notebooks though!
Thank you very much . I've sold some privately to friends...as well as craft fair. Price is dependent on cost /size of book as well as what your market decrees. It's always hard to find the price point for items. Karen
Karen, I love how crisp your under-stencils are but can't seem to achieve the effect myself. Are you using just Gesso, modelling paste or some combination for that part? BTW I am obsessed with your journal cover technique and did one last week for the first time. It wasn't as polished as yours but I'm still happy with it and can't wait to do the next one.
I love doing the journal covers and just as I released this one I am editing the next one. I'd love for you to post your cover in my facebook group. I have done heavy gesso through the stencil , mixed gesso with modeling paste and done various types of modeling pastes. You only think that it so very crisp due to the illusion of videoing...trust me it is not perfect....I just finally gave up trying to make it so....if it was a focal image yes it would be of concern...but when it is in the background....embrace the imperfections. Karen

Look for napkins at your dollar store...I also get the spiral notebooks at dollar store. K
