Thanks for sharing. I just wanted to know how handy is the German language requirements in this scenario? Like, what if the applicant has no German language certificate?

Have you been asked for this certificate? I wasn't asked for it when I applied. And I don't think it makes a difference but like I said criteria of selection is university dependent :) if you have one, do upload it!

My VPD is 1.3 and I badly need this scholarship. Not just for the money but because in my country we need to wait 2 year+ just to get the interview from the embassy. I am a bachelor student and I will apply for uni this summer semester. Should I mention this waiting time problem in LOM? If I don't get the scholarship then I need to defer my semester and I can't attend the classes.

Forgot to mention if a student have scholarship no matter how much, there is no waiting time for that particular student. This is the reason I badly need this scholarship.

Hi, first I suggest you to check if this scholarship is considered for speeding up your visa application .
However, I don’t think the selection committee would give you preference for getting the scholarship fast because you need it for your visa application.
Selection is solely based on merit and I believe you have a strong chance of getting the scholarship because of your excellent grade. I suggest you to also consider applying for the DAAD scholarship if you qualify.
My final suggestion is to simply apply for the scholarship and not mention anything about 2 year waiting time for visa application. If you want to get your letter reviewed you can connect with me on my topmate.io/careercraftingwithsamiksha/ page.
