What is the timeframe you suggest? How long is "long"? Can I use it in a 3month 1day chart? Or do I need to change to lower SMA number as there aren't 100 trading days in 3 months.

Adding the OBV is not something I've heard before. I use Oanda's fxTrade and I can't overlay the MA over the top of the OBV. Any tricks you could share?

Hi, Why is it that when the -DI is higher than +DI, the green candle can still appear? (eg. push it back). If the negative is higher, shouldn't the red candles take hold?
On MT5 you just have to go to "View" and open the Navigator and then you choose the SMA its not an EMA if I am not wrong and move it to the indicator window.

I trade 15 second chart and use a 10 stop and 80 tick tp. If the dmi cross then I'll get out. I move to break even after around 15 ticks
Exit criteria should be slope analysis when you see both the DI and ADX looking like this \\ and heading towards a cross and below the 20-25 level

Hey David, I don't use ADX for option trading, I rely heavily on my pivot points (which also help me to set my SL and TP levels).

Try 5 mins candle with ADX set at 8 and RSI set at 8 , do this for high volatile stocks and check.

Add the OBV indicator, open the navigator, go to trend, drag and drop moving average to OBV window and select "apply to previous indicator's data".

Increase the default settings to filter the noise (maybe 50).
I do not have OBV crossover with MA in my system, what should i use in its place?
