there is no truth here. Each side is master on media play. MHJ is innocent? She is not even close. Hybe is good? They just fight for their own good and the members is stucked in the middle. look at NewJeans situation now. If they keep silent and Hybe win, they basically lost their concept creator and their whole concept. Right now, Hybe gave Illit more favor. If NewJeans stay, they will disband soon. In the case, they want to support MHJ publicly. It is clearly a 50/50 case. I don't think with NewJeans, they have a win scenario.

It's obvious Bang Si Hyuk at the very least is disinterested (no pictures with them, no mentions, neglecting them on the HYBE page), but it seems to run deeper than that.
He doesn't get to be the brainchild behind them, he's just the money man. If NewJeans is left alone at HYBE w/o MHJ, they're going to be put in the dungeon.
True, Bang Si Hyuk doesn't seem to care about his idols AT ALL. He discard whoever got in the way, like disbanding Gfriend ( which some how netizen now blame MHJ on it?), kick Garam out of Le Sserafim, kick the 6th girl out of illit. The debuted idols quickly to grab as nuch money as possible without training their idols properly, which resulted in these idols being bullied harassed by netizen. He never did anything to help the idols from all of these controversy.

I must be a rare International fan that can appreciate MJH's resume and ambition. I have been disappointed with BHE and Hybe's treatment of their Artists for many years. Who made RM wear Dark Glasses and JHope wear a mask when they debuted because of antis rude and ridiculous attacks on their looks. The same person who forced V to watch BTS interact with fans live while he remained hidden. Hybe wanting to monopolize the KPop Industry is fine but a woman wanting to run her own Agency is a Sin.

As an international fans, we have seen a lot of lawsuits in the USA. One thing you don’t do is give a public interview where you are unprepared. You follow your lawyer’s advice and they looked embarrassed and like they wanted her to shut up. She was the one who brought in the names of the other groups. She made herself to look hysterical and unhinged, like I feel she burned a lot of bridges, mostly overseas. She may get work in Asia but internationally, she turns off people.

Once again, appreciative of your objective reporting on this situation. It’s very interesting to see all the channels that jumped on the MHJ bashing bandwagon a few days ago have suddenly stopped posting such videos now that public opinion has swayed on her side. Those type of social media ‘journalists’ are irresponsible and disgust me, they’d do anything for more clicks regardless of how it hurts someone else’s reputation or career.
Don’t speak too soon 😩 This channel loves biased reporting and they’ll generally pick the side that’s dominant at the moment. Look what they did with Kim Garam - all their early videos were very biased against her, and as far as I’m concerned basically helped rally hate for her among intl fans. Then once the tide turned and the dominant sentiment was pro Garam, this channel made all sorts of videos about how unfairly she was treated.
Personally I’m a bit MHJ biased in this situation, but I think it’s clear this channel is (currently) presenting more in MHJ’s favour.

There are 2 major factors that speak for MHJ's side of the story:
A) - taking over Ador starting with her 18% and then making it an "empty shell" to "force" Hybe to sell without actually losing the members or the popularity of NewJeans seems like a completely unrealistic maniac plan - you must believe that MHJ is both evil & stupid enough to seriously attempt such a strategy.
B) - creating Illit with a very similar concept to NewJeans' is a very suspicious move by Hybe/BSH - it doesn't exactly scream "NewJeans' longterm success is a priority for me" - the fans have limited resources and can't stan both groups equally - even if it's all "Hybe family" or whatever, there's always competition between the groups, especially when they are from the same generation. It would have made more sense to debut a group with a very different vibe to attract potential fans with a different taste.

No one at Hybe is trying to control her, but she is a sub-division of Hybe, not the owner. Everyone with a job has to listen to the boss sometime. Hybe has made her the highest paid executive, she has at least 75mil in stock and she's still trying to re-negotiate to get more.
I take offense to her claiming ILLIT copied her, when she ripped off the 90s-2000 girl groups. It's like she opened an old Delia catalog, then had an idea. She didn't invent the school girl, lolita, baggy jeans, scarf top look. Even the hair & makeup isn't original. Guest we're all supposed to forget about the girl groups, Xscape, Aaliyah, S.E.S., BabyVox, TLC, Fin.K.L etc. All did this look first. It's ok to bring back the past but don't act like you created it, then have the nerve to say someone else copying you. As far as i know there's no claim NewJean's music has been plagiarized.
Hybe doesn't need to get involved in every little squabble the sub-labels have. ILLIT did their thing and Ador did theirs. Give ILLIT their credit. If the allegations against her are proven true, then she can be dismissed as CEO due to unethical practices. Yes, Min Hee Jin is applauded for the conceptualization of Newjeans, but plotting against your parent company is a different story. You don't bite the hand that feeds you. HYBE gave her a job as CEO of ADOR, this just shows her ingratitude and deceitfulness.

Interestingly enough, HYBE still isn't talking about how they stole the choreography for one of ILLIT's pre-debut choreo videos move for move from famous choreographer Kelley Sweeny. They never addressed when choreography for ENHYPEN was also stolen. It seems that only artists under BELIFT are having issues with theft, so I wonder if they issue is only with HYBE, or also internally at BELIFT.
Either way, I'm waiting for all the sh-t to hit the fan. These ignorant company stan kids don't seem to realize that this woman would not be standing up to HYBE legally unless she had receipts (some of which she's already shown). HYBE has been nothing but hot air so far. They talk and talk, but haven't shown any supporting documents. HYBE can afford to start a lawsuit they can't win and hope the accused will back down or wish to settle out of court without exposing them. I don't think they were anticipating her fighting back. It's pretty hard to get K-netizens on your side in a situation like this without solid proof. They have access to everything (a lot of which hasn't been translated at all), so for them to actually be siding with MHJ says quite a lot. I hope more evidence will be translated, but I think a lot of these kids won't change their minds easily. For some reason, they can't seem to grasp that HYBE can be trash doing illegal and/or dubious sh-t and also be the company for their favorite groups. HYBE being trash doesn't make the groups under them trash, but these kids cannot seem to understand that.
Honestly, I wish HYBE's empire would crumble. BTS doesn't need them and can take all the Big Hit groups with them. Let the sub-labels be their own independent companies again and the pieces fall where they may.

Hybe didn't steal anything. They technically own it all, they could make a million clones of NJ, or Enhypen or any one of their groups and it would be perfectly legal. Is it right? Is it good for he industry? No. But it is also not theft.
Hybe is not going to show any supporting documents to the public because it has company info involved, they will show it to the court and the lawyers. I do not trust big corporations but I tend to side with Hybe in this situation simply because they have the results of the audit, and all of the information turned over and verified from the ADOR VP. People keep saying MHJ has shown evidence but I have yet to see any. An unhinged press conference (if you can even call it that) where she did nothing but curse, cry, avoid answering questions, and show some kakaotalk messages that didn't really show anything is NOT evidence. I could be wrong because we don't know what else will come out once this goes to court, but for the time being I tend to be more on the side of Hybe in this particular situation. Even if she hasn't done anything yet, and her plan was a long shot, just the documents showing that she was making plans is enough to fire her and if I was in the position of Hybe that is what i'd do too, you don't want someone in a position of power in your company if they have shown you that they can't be trusted.

I don't understand many international fans who are so blind to the fact that Hybe has run a paid for smear campaign largely due the jealousy of Bang that he couldn't create a girl kpop group as great as New Jeans and because he wanted to divert attention from the harsh criticism especially from Koreans regarding the vocal weakness of Le Sserafim at Coachella. Furthermore, the trust that manhy international fans place in a court case is ridiculous in my opinion since big money corrupts justice absolutely so as a number of others have expressed it is likely that any "legal" process will involve bribes and fabricated evidence to make a kangaroo court to oust Min Hee Jin even as the far dirtier tactics of Hybe are concealed from the public.
Koreans who have seen their media totally controlled by Hybe's corrupt money understand better because no stories in favor of MHJ and no articles about Hybe's dangerous association with the Dahn World cult have appeared in the mainstream news even as huge outrage against Hybe have flooded social media and Koreans and some international fans who have seen the manipulation happen in real time with massive censorship of messages and posts removed by Hybe from youtube and twitter.
Furthermore, It is much more obvious to Koreans that Min Hee Jin is the only one in a powerful position who has New Jeans best interests in mind since the group wouldn't even exist without her vision and championing their debut in the face of immense obstacles like debuting Le Sserafim first. Also, the fact that those simply posting justified criticism of Hybe on social media sites have been threatened with law suits and prosecution makes them sympathize with Min Hee Jihn more since they feel threatened that they may also be victims of a witchhunt by a greedy corporation just as MHJ may be.

I feel the MHJ - HYBE dispute is part of HYBE's attempts to intentionally sabotage NewJeans as part of their efforts to undermine MHJ. They timed the public release of the dispute right before NJ's comeback; essentially guaranteeing the specter of the story will hang like a cloud over the comeback. Moreover, NJ's image and concept revolves around a sense of innocence. However, with this story, that sense of innocence is now gone and will be difficult to recover.

Parties to a lawsuit do NOT release key documents to the public until the judge has reviewed and the final judgment has been made. In Korea, trials are not televised so we won't see the actual documents until after the judgment is recorded by the courts. This is why MHJ also hasn't provided actual documentation of her innocence. I feel like most of the people who are against her are minors who don't know anything firsthand about the corporate world. If my boss told me he'd help me achieve my dreams and support me 100%, resulting in me signing with their company and then turned around and revoked those promises and didn't let me promote my project that I poured all of my blood, sweat and tears into, I'd be pissed. In order for a person or entity to take over control of a company, that person needed 51% or more shares. MHJ has 18%, staff has 2%, & Hybe has 80%. Hybe is trying to sell some of their shares. They can technically only sell 29% or less in order to remain in control of the company. MHJ needs 33% for her to take over Ador. Even if MHJ got her hands on the 29% that Hybe was selling to investors, that will total to 47%. Even if MHJ buys the 2% shares of staff, that will lead her to 49%. SHE WILL NEVER TAKE OVER ADOR UNLESS HYBE GIVES UP CONTROL THEMSELVES AND SELL MORE THAN 29%. Remember, no person or entity can be a major shareholder and control a company without 51% shares or more.
She is set to cash out $75million in stocks (that have vested at a ridiculously fast rate as part of her renegotiating her contract over and over and over). She tried to make it into $150million.
She also planned to start a smear campaign, tank the stock, already lined up investors for future financial backing, and is THE highest paid exec at HYBE. It is ALL about the money for her.
If they wanted to get rid of her, HYBE could just get together with their 80% and vote to get rid of her. No need to go public. No need to file a police report or start the formal process of an audit (that requires it be public).

In my point of view, both HYBE and Min Hee Jin have faults. First of all, she claims that Bang PD has copied her and made BTS. Like is she serious? BTS has debuted on 2013 and New Jeans has debuted probably on 22 or 23 so what type of allegation is that against them? She even contacted a shaman for doing witchcraft on BTS so that they could go to military, like is she in her senses? She even claims that ILLIT has copied New Jeans and RIIZE has also copied New Jeans where New Jeans got more popular because of BTS as they have danced with them on their songs so there's no sense in her allegation. If she has problems with HYBE then she could have solved in the company herself so why is she involving the other artists including BTS? Second, HYBE never responded to any of the scandals BTS and other groups have faced.
