Huh, I knew it was fake at 7 yrs old. I was born in 2012
I passed just because I didn't need another ring and I'm not a completist on Ultimate Editions, but this is a really good figure. Liked this look for Kane a lot and would definitely have bought it as a single release. I think Mattel did drop the ball on the packaging. You knew a lot of people would be buying this for the figure and at least give the MIB collectors the packaging they want.
I pitch that we now need…
Ultimate Edition Paul Bearer
a few different head sculpts and urns that fit the periods he managed Undertaker, Kane and Mankind.
Just picked up the ultimate Kane and Undertaker and been on ebay looking for a Paul Bearer but hoping we get an updated version of him at some point soon as well as a ultimate Mankind
Agree with you on the box, wish it was the same as the other ultimates. Shouldn’t have put it in the box with the ring and gave us the figure separate
This set should've came with a Mankind ultimate edition instead of Kane. Felt like the Kane is a kinda random choice.
My standard Kane Ultimate with the cape is good enough. Still a cool figure.
I always joked that this was Kane's road uniform since the colors were reversed.
5:00 it’s about time someone doing an unboxing video of this figure actually shows us how it looks coming out of the box!! I wondered it maybe there was still a full plastic cover you could still get autographed and display that, but I guess not.

Totally. The WWE Mattel figures' ankles are so gappy and stiff most of the time. If that's where they have to cut costs then so be it, but man it would be nice if they could finally move past that.

I always wished Kane had the flame 🔥 he shot out his glove to burn Chyna. I also felt they missed a opportunity to put Kane's intro effect flames from the turnbuckle with this ring
Love how they did the box but prefer the window. Which elite kane is that. I prefer that head on the new ultimate

what about the sculpting on the chest? he finally has the mesh flame parts that wasnt on the original ulitmate? thats one of the selling points...

The new gen release proves Mattel could have Kane figure packaging that matched the rest of the line. They just choose not to do that.
Those were not packed with the ring as they were packed separately where this was all in one package

Kane was my childhood fav, I was a figure collector but i was a KANE completionist. Still bothers me we dont have a propper BIG RED MACHINE, i only had that RED survivor series kane and it pissed me off.
I just really want an updated Kane from 03-04 i was a fan of that

I bought the next gen ring JUST for the UE figures and I sold everything else. I would have done the same for this if the figure was in the same UE box as always.

The ring Kane I would have bought if it was a standalone. The figure itself is really cool. I just can't justify it in my head that I would want to buy the ring as well. I like the Ultimate that came out before this better. Plus the Ultimate has way more accessories than this new figure, however the new one does come with a ring.
I sorta want the ring but do not need it so I am passing. Just to much these days for me with all this product I need. Really have to make decisions these days.

2:07 I’ve only seen Mattel say this is how THIS figure was packaged with the ring. But I haven’t seen them specifically say UE boxes weren’t go this route in the future at all. I feel like it is. Why were Doink and Diesel still the same as the others but not this Kane? Seems sketchy to me.

I have yet to get late 99 into 2000 Kane inverted. I love how the sculpted in the "red flame" on his chest where he had that red mesh. Extra detail and I'm all for it. If this hit retail I would've loved a 2 pack with Paul Bearer in the red suit.
The face mask is good! Not too much meat on the bone for me! The original UE Kane is better!!! 😉😉

Very disappointed I had to buy another ring to keep my ultimate collection complete and even more disappointed it came with a lazy repaint of an existing figure.
I’m betting that they eventually put this Kane in a box like the other ultimates.
