This was pre-Wisadel so I'm not sure if it's still true, but Ray was the best sniper for IS4 by a long shot. Very flexible range, short skill cycle, and perma-bind for skill duration. Plus she has so many multipliers she can hit sky-high numbers with just a few relics.
Viviana's talent gives %chance to gain melee Shields on hit, plus her S3 gives her multi-hit, so she's actually reasonably good at tanking the Red boss with extra ASPD. Probably still not worth drafting over Degen, Mlynar or Surtr most of the time, but in this case all the stars aligned.
Alt Samivilinn has ended too many of my runs. Or realizing I can't beat it, using the Treescar Helm to fight Eikthyrnir instead, then dying anyway because I didn't plan to fight him and my team doesn't have a way to deal with him.

Great run! Im really suprised by how much dmg Ray does to khanranduu, he has like 8250 def when enranged or something at BN15
