This is a beautiful edit for a beautiful series! The slow and steady development of Colbourne's and Charlotte's relationship was perfect. Rose Williams portrayal of Charlotte was lovely!!
I love Jane Austen novels. This was her last unfinished novel and the writers have done such a great job of capturing that Jane Austen feeling. I am sad this is the last season because I can’t get enough of there story. My favorite novel before this one is Pride and Prejudice. And Colburn using that similar line of “You have bewitched me body and soul “ just gives chills. Episode three comes out this Sunday so I can’t wait to watch it. Their love story is amazing. 🥰❤️ I wish there were more Jane Austen novels. I watch all the remakes, but no one has topped the recent Pride and Prejudice until now with Sanditon. I hope for more remakes like maybe Sense and Sensibility. 😊
And speaking of that line similar to "You have bewitched me, body and soul." My into to Pride and Prejudice was the one with Kiera Knightly and Matthew MacFadyen. His voice sounds so similar to MacFadyen's when he delivers it that it adds something.
@@Augiegrl12 Absolutely. That one is my favorite version. Near the end when he is walking towards her in the early foggy morning is so romantic. It gives me chills every time. I tear up when he is hoping her feelings towards him have changed because his has not. Oh it is so good. 🥰
@@Augiegrl12 I agree. They could have done better. The older Persuasion is much better. I was also not happy with the recent remake of Emma. I am sure most people loved it, but I liked the older version of that one as well. The only newer version I have enjoyed was Pride and Prejudice with Kiera Knightly. The BBC seem to do better with the Jane Austen novels. PBS is doing a great job with Sanditon. ❤️ I would love to see a remake of Sense and Sensibility.
