I love this video.Just as it was when were children .My mum sat in the sand dunes watching us building sandcastles ,searching for shells and anything washed up from the ships .We had a radio we hired from Rosies shop .Sometimes a tandem bike.We bought kites and fishing nets for crabbing further along .Always put them back What is now mostly car park. We had a caravan in a field behind the toilet block.Their were many caravans .Never wanted to go home .If you go on Mablethorpe beech watch out for Jelly fish. My sister and I got caught once in a pack of really huge ones..Fortunately we never got stung even though my sister was screaming and I was terrified just trying to swim fast yo gey away from them though they swarmed. Jelly fish really are preditors .They hunt In a pack.Learnt a lot that day about which bit of ocean to swim in.Anderby is full of wildlife early in the morning. Not suprised you saw a black rabbit Probably escaped his little hutch in someone's back garden bless him.
Rasha looks like a younge dog .Full of energy and you will see when Sandra or children get into the sea she will follow .Its the iron in the waters and those pooch dog chews I think Have bought some for our dogs.Good for arthritis.Thank You Neil .!

As the beach is so big, it never gets too busy, it stretches for miles.

Anderby Creek has changed so much, from what I can see in this video. I used to come here on holiday with my parents when I was young in the 1970's & 1980's. We used to come for a two week holiday every year in July, the same time as what was known as Leicester fortnight. I notice that the off licence has gone and so has the chip shop. Grace's shop no longer exists, neither does Rose's store. The Post Office looks different and there are quite a few more houses/holiday homes that have been built. The beach has so much sand on it! I can't believe how high the sand has formed over the years. Also the outfall on the beach has been renewed, it's completely covered over nowadays. Years ago it was open and I used to get my crabs out of there with my crabbing line! One thing that's not changed with progress is the happy memories that I have of Anderby and what was some of the best days of my life...🙂👍🏻

Sounds like you have happy memories.
A lot of the sand along the coast is part of the sea defence

@CampsiteWarden Yes, some great memories of Anderby. The build up of sand makes sense...🙂👍🏻

I dont think campsites should charge for dogs, it puts people off from booking on to a site ,dogs dont use electricity or use the toilets and showers.

I love being by the sea, hence why we’ve bought a holiday home on the Norfolk coast, don’t worry about the grass cutting etc you’re only doing your job and it makes everything look nice 😊

Its so annoying when you go on a campsite and the warden is grass cutting ,it happened to us and it rained we booked for 3 nights but only stayed 2 .

We tend to only do the grass cutting on week days it has to be done.
