Thanks for the tutorial. U said after cutting the Marco, it will be bigger than the sole. My question is, if I want to make a size 40slippers . can I use a size 39 soles to trace, so that there will be no excess for me to file.

Please don't use size 39 sole to cut size 40,
1.the two soles may have different shape.
2. It will definitely be smaller than size 40
But I will advise you to cut a pattern out for the size you need,you can then use the pattern to cut the Marco.
