for those of you wondering how this dance won, it most likely didn’t. The moms have stated before that the competitions are staged for television, (also notice how there’s no crowd in the audience in this video while the girls dance) this is television.
I’ve never seen one of the ALDC moms state that the competitions as a whole were staged or fake, I’ve actually seen them state the opposite. Actual dance competitions were occurring. I mean many of the comps have full audiences with 20 other studios competing, those aren’t all actors or fake people. However, I have seen a few of the main moms state that there were times that they didn’t win for example, and production would cut and edit together footage from a different competition where they had won; making it so they can choose to make them look like the “1st place overall” regardless of the actual competition outcome. You can actually go to some of the competition organizers websites, and compare the actual scores from past competitions to what was shown on the show. Several of the “wins” they got on the show, the actual records online state they were 2nd or 3rd.

I’ve always been curious as to why they used kalani’s voice for todrick’s parts when they performed it because she was one of the few who never claimed to be a singer, and I would at least think they would have one of the ones who are more of singers, like nia, kendall, or kenzie doing it
the directing traffic is crazy like nobody give a flying f^ck you’re shooting a commercial. if you had a professional camera crew and directing/producing crew who could shoot the video then they would’ve blocked the street so this wouldn’t happen but nah abby wants it her way. i love and adore todrick and the fact he’s had his own broadway shows and starred in so many shows makes him the MOST qualified person to be in charge of this shoot. also the fact that the commercial was something you’d see claire’s advertising is really something. and she sent them to a dance competition with literally no dance/a rushed group choreo which honestly doesn’t surprise me bc she’s done that before. crazy how she brags about how everyone is replaceable and how many professionals she’s teaching, but can’t even be bothered to be a professional either.

I have an unpopular opinion on this. I think it was ballsy and cool and unexpected to do a commercial as a competitive group dance. I thought it was fresh and entertaining. I won’t share how I feel about Toderick, I’ll just leave it at I saw all those Big Brother feeds. 😬
Now I know this is old but.. If Abby wanted to use the streets why didn't she use that money she has and block off the streets. It'll be safer than her trying to get hit by a car. And I think after she said go ahead hit me, I think she should of been either locked up or in an aslyum because that's dangerous to herself and others. good for the mothers for stepping in and saying no.
