Love your videos! As an Angeleno, every fiber of my being wanted to shout a warning to you (9 months back in time, across the world, etc.) for the false flag that was “LA” on that van.😅 LA is the two-letter state abbreviation for Louisiana. Aside from the writing on the side of that van, and the area codes on billboards, etc., there were a few geographical clues that, to me, suggested you were in the South, or at least definitely not in Southern California: -The extensive usage of brick (buildings, fences, etc.) was definitely not California. Builders don’t typically use much brick anymore in Southern California likely due to earthquakes. -The area was quite green, and the roads seemed a bit too seasonally-affected. -The short distance between that stadium and the street/residential neighborhood behind it seemed odd. -The traffic lights/signals were often suspended by cables and not attached to a solid, metal post/arm. (Cables are more common outside of California, and I suspect more so in slightly less affluent states and/or hurricane-prone or even storm-prone regions. I’ve seen them used in the South as well as in Oregon and Washington [state - it seems you’ve already come to appreciate the rather perplexing manifestations of this country’s obsession with its first Commander in Chief/president].) -Gas (petrol/fuel for cars) was priced at barely over $2 per gallon. California has the highest taxes on gas in the US, so our prices are far above the national average. I can’t recall seeing gas sold for below $3/gallon in Southern California in the past ~18 years. (Arguably, this would have been a harder clue for someone outside of the US, especially given currency/unit conversions and the geopolitical influences over the cost of crude oil across nations.) I suppose the study of geography can get quite minute! Maybe that’s what makes it fascinating. 🤷🏼♂️
Another one would be fantastic. It's really cool that you mentioned Westlake, CA, my neighborhood, as well as La Mirada, CA, where my university is located.
This is always a lot of fun to watch. I think I should try playing this game, it is very entertaining and it's neat to see the world. I think a lot of places look very similar, I don't know how well I'd do😅

I think on the first round that letter was just the ь soft sign in a weird font. As far as I know the мягкий знак is present in all Cyrillic script languages
