To those saying its p2w. It's not. Asphalt 8 has a money system for buying cars so basically just replay races until you want a specific one while Asphalt 9 has a blueprint system. While the blueprint system sucks Asphalt 9 is VERY generous in giving free cars. The events give you tons of blueprints and are genuinely really fun. Like rn in A9 we have an event where we play as an undercover cop. Complete the event and you get a free Bugatti Centodieci. If you ever want to taste REAL p2w gameplay, play nfs no limits.
I only play NFS; No Limits,,, I downloaded the Asphalt 9; Legends,, but I think, only I played 2 or 3 time's...while I play Asphalt 9 it's feel me like playing Cartoon Game,...
When it comes to adrenaline action packed gameplay it's definitely Asphalt 8 but when it comes to graphics and physics realism it's definitely Asphalt 9🔥

The drifting mechanics are way better in A8. I found myself doing 360 spins in A9 when I was wanting to cancel nitro boost into drift, which is necessary to clear corners faster.

Asphalt 8 had some sort of ‘soul’ to it, and asphalt 9 just feels like it’s made for small gen alpha kids that have the attention span of 2 minutes. Asphalt 9 is better than Asphalt 8 for the gameplay, but Asphalt 9 is more P2W than Asphalt 8. Asphalt 8 even though they’re annoying you with the ads, but they not really force you to become p2w. But Asphalt 9 is opposite, everything you need to pay for becomes a pro player even though you want to play for free, you will lose if you always free to play. I honestly think that A8 has better shaders, but worse textures (Not blamable, old after all), and A9 has worse shaders (Car shadow is always at bottom, and undynamic), but has better terrain design and textures.
