I have made many of your projects because you have great instruction. I love that you don't gab at us like so many tutorials do, just straight forward here how I do it, no nonsense! Your purse tutorials are my favorite but I am going to make some of these headbands, for sure! Thank you very much for making these tutorials. You are an awesome teacher. May God bless you as you have been a blessing to many!
Thank you for sharing. I decided to make one and it was easier than what I thought. These words are coming from some that is teaching herself how to use a sewing machine. I love my headband 🥰
Thank you. This is beautiful. I would like to make an eight inch wide headband like this with simple ties instead of the elastic. I don't know if I will end up pulling my hair or if it will be less comfortable or liable to fall down without the elastic though...
You’re truly amazing. Thank you so much for the step-by-step tutorials. For the first time in my life, I’ve been successful in creating headbands and scrunchies. Please keep posting more!
May I ask what the best measurements would be to make the bow headband for a child of say 6 years of age? Should I drop 1 or 2 inches from the casing and head band do you think? Thanks very much, Celeste.
This was a great tutorial! It was easy and I’ve made a few. Was wondering what would the fabric measurements be for baby, toddler and kids? I’ll be using cotton fabric.
This is what I was looking for & it looks easy with your step by step instructions. What I am wondering is which fabric would work best? Soft Knit? Cotton? Any suggestions for the type of fabric??
I wished you had modeled it for us. I put in the TH-cam search engine for this pattern as I just bought one of these at our church thrift store, they can't keep them on the shelf. I have lots of bandanas that keep slipping off of my head, and I thought I would try to remake them into this style that has the elastic, the elastic keeps this from slipping when I am doing yard work and other vigorous activities Very good demo
Finally I found a tutorial for the headbands I used to wear as a child!!! I have a question tho - the measurements in the template, is that in inches or cm? :))
I work in healthcare here in West Lafayette, I don’t have the items or the time to make a headband, but i would pay for one- or more, but made so i can use!!

Thank you for sharing this video. I like it that the headband was double sided. It makes it more sturdy. 😊

Can you please tell me if you used a stretchy knit for the headband or a cotton? What type of fabric will work best?
Not sure the type of the fabric, It's lightweight and thin. Thank you for watching.
@@EasyToSew Thank you for reply! Was it stretchy? Please.

May I ask what the best measurements would be to make the bow headband for a child of say 6 years of age? Should I drop 1 or 2 inches from the casing and head band do you think? Thanks very much, Celeste.
Celeste Fraser : You could reduce the length of main headband and the casing and try it before stitch. Thank you!
Thank you, will try that! 🙂
Perfectly!What size head?
Excellent tutorial and makes excellent results! Thank you so much :)
Thank you so much.
This was a great tutorial! It was easy and I’ve made a few. Was wondering what would the fabric measurements be for baby, toddler and kids? I’ll be using cotton fabric.

I used lightweight fabric. Thanks for watching
Great headband. One question: Is your first stitch a zigzag?
What I’ve been looking for in this style and I love the fabric. What exactly is it.
It looks like possibly a rayon/polyester blend…?

So I tried this... it came out great! But I messed up the fabric choice. What fabric did you use?
rochie bee : It's like chiffon.
I had one, bought from hair care and accessory shop.. its made of lace. Very nice.
This is what exactly i was looking for
Its really very helpful .
Thanks for this easy Diy❤️

SJ R : The measurements are at the beginning of the video. Thank you.
Thank you for sharing this! It took me hours before I finish making this because I dont have a sewing machine so I had to hand stitch it. 🤣
Great job!
@@EasyToSew thank you for providing an easy to follow tutorial 🌟
I finally sat down to make this today and wasn’t able to scrunch up the fabric without the thread ripping. any ideas?
Use lightweight fabric like cotton rayon or chiffon, you can use folding method rather than scrunch up. Thanks for watching
Sewing with hand is a good way to it
Hey What seam allowance are you using to sew with?
1/4" allowance.
Great job, thank you!
This is so cute! I am making my mom a gift basket for Mother’s Day, and I was wondering if the sizing fits adults, or if it’s for a kid.
I love you video... Bundles of thanks..
Malik Asad : Thank you for comments:)
I've been looking to make this type of headband. Thank you for making this tutorial. It looks so easy to follow. I have subscribed to your channel. 😘
CrochetBelle : Thank you!
What kind of fabric are u using in the video.
estellescamilla : It's like chiffon. Thank you!
EasyToSew thank you so much and love your tutorials♥️
What fabric can we use?
Kind like lightweight. Thanks for watching
Heya when you say. long stitch, what length are you sewing at please, love your videos
Tracey Seymour : for my sewing machine long stitch length is 4 which is maximum length.
I’ve been using 3 on my standard Janome and haven’t had any issues 🙂
Thank you for sharing this. I was hoping you'd try it on, too, so we can see how it'd look. Anyway, i'll absolutely be doing this. Stay safe!
I also was hoping they would model it for us to see…
What size and type of needle and thread do you use to sew with this fabric?
Lindoooo!
What sewing machine do you have? Or do you recommend any affordable ones?
Jenni Lee : I'm using Janome.
How many inches is the elastic?
I've provided all measurements in the video, thanks for watching
Thanks 💕💕💕
Would this work with cotton?
If you are happy with cotton (not heavy weight fabric).
Very good.. Thank you
Thank you, I will try this tomorrow
Hope you enjoy

@@EasyToSew Thank you very much!
Love it, made in faux leather
Dayrha Allen : Thanks for watching!
Delightful, a breeze to watch and learn!
💪🙏
I work in healthcare here in West Lafayette, I don’t have the items or the time to make a headband, but i would pay for one- or more, but made so i can use!!
