There is a world famous Ice cream shop in Wisconsin called Kelley's Creamery that's been on Good Morning America several years for best ice cream. It's on a dairy farm and they make sweet corn ice cream with black pepper in it.
A favorite memory is having dinner at La Hacienda with a dear friend (and her grandson) when the restaurant was new (2011). Besides the great food (and a tequila flight) was our server, who made sure we could see the fireworks from the gorgeous windows by moving us to an empty table. Thank you for bringing back this sweet memory, Kristen!
Another place we have never been to. Always walk on by without giving it a glance. It looks lovely inside and your food looked A-mazing. We could go in and share everything you ordered and be completely satisfied. I usually am not a tuna person but would be willing to try since I’m busting out of my comfort zone these days. Thanks for the fantastic review!
I always enjoyed this restaurant. The review was great. I enjoy your food reviews when you step out of your comfort zone a little bit. Thank you so much, Kristen.
Ok- I’ve been sleeping on this place, but I think this just woke me up! Everything looks so good!! That chocolate corn cob looked so real! 😅 Lovin the hat look, too! 🙂
My husband and I ate here one night during illuminations and had a fireworks table. It was amazing. And I had a fish dish with some sort of creamed Mexican corn… and it was amazing! Love this place.
I'M EARLY! KRISTEN! I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL!! YOUR VIDEOS ARE SO ENJOYABLE TO WATCH!! I have a video suggestion. If you're a fan of Trader Joe's, can you do a video featuring / tasting all your favorite Trader Joe's products? 🩷🌸
We haven’t eaten there in many years and the menu and food looks different and much better than I remember. I guess it’s time to go back and try it again!
Thanks for the review! I have eaten at the San Angel Inn but not the Hacienda. The special margarita looked amazing as well as everything you sampled! Will try next trip.
All the restaurants in the Mexico Pavilion are owned and operated by Las Palmas Group so the food is extremely similar and interchangeable Choose location depending on the ambiance you're seeking. Includes, Maya Grill at Coronado, as well.
A lot of Mexican restaurants have started charging for chips & salsa by putting it on the appetizers like other restaurants have started charging for a bread service.
You’re right, jicama is a vegetable, and comparing the taste to an apple is spot on! Pan Elote just by itself is so good, sometimes it can be found at Mexican grocery stores. As far as Mexican restaurants in the Disney bubble, I’d take Frontera any day of the week. 😍
We actually skipped La Hacienda this year during our visit but after seeing your review today, I’m definitely adding it back on for our next trip!! The food looks really good now!! And definitely love the hat 👍
looks good. never ate here cause when I eat in Mexico its Sam Angel which has about the best atmosphere of any place in WS. I did see a video when Nate and Sean ate the tomahawk steak and lots of chips
Great video review! Does the guac have onions in it? Also, surprised that the quality is different inside vs. outside, since it’s the same ownership group. I believe they also own the restaurants at Coronado Springs.
I love watching your videos. My husband and I travel to WDW several times a year and always looking for new places to try outside of the parks/resorts. Would love to hear about which other Mexican restaurants are close to WDW that you might recommend.
between the 2 (San angel and la hacienda) which do you think is better for pre teen-ish kids that generally just like a classic taco or guac and chips? (Anyone who wants to answer!)
Other than Blue Bayou at Disneyland with a similar inside/outside atmosphere, San Angel probably has the best atmosphere, next would be Rainforest Cafe at AK or Sci Fi Drive In at HS.
You mention a bunch of mom and pop mexican restaurants in the area, could you name a few of your favorite's? We would love to try one out. Thank you :)
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Epcot specifically because of the entree you ordered. The waitress told me the last time I was that you can also order it with chicken. During the fireworks, they turn down the lights and pipe in the music.
Another great video & review Kristen! Appreciate you’re telling like it is good & bad. Suggestion: As part of your reviews, would really like to hear more of “your perspective” on pricing. For example, you obviously loved the Marg, but $18 seems quite steep. In addition, the majority of the entrees were in the mid to high $30’s and higher. Your suggestion about splitting the entree made total sense given the prices. Just a thought. Keep up the great job 👏
Agree with the pyramid atmosphere - let’s go
Food looks very nice.

That margarita was SO pretty!!!! Excellent call on the hibiscus salt rim too 🍉🌺

I loved this review, amazing job you ordered some things I would not have initially thought to order and now I am excited to try!
give up the Mom's n Pop's! I'm ready to go on the Kristen's Mexican Kitchen tour!
Thank you for all you do to bring these reviews to us. Everything looked amazing! Great job!
Thanks Kristen, just booked on the recommendation of the vlog.
Great video Kristin!

Definitely check it out! There are so many amazing restaurants & food stands in Epcot so I know it’s hard to get around to all of them 😅
I always enjoyed this restaurant. The review was great. I enjoy your food reviews when you step out of your comfort zone a little bit. Thank you so much, Kristen.
I ate here years ago and I really enjoyed it! I definitely need to go back, that margarita looks absolutely amazing!
The appetizers looked so good! I ate there about 5 years ago and had shrimp tacos, which were excellent.
Ok- I’ve been sleeping on this place, but I think this just woke me up! Everything looks so good!! That chocolate corn cob looked so real! 😅
Lovin the hat look, too! 🙂
That place looks amazing, I had no idea. Thank you for sharing your review ❤❤❤ whelp now I need something Mexican to eat!
My husband and I ate here one night during illuminations and had a fireworks table. It was amazing. And I had a fish dish with some sort of creamed Mexican corn… and it was amazing! Love this place.
Jicama is a root vegetable! So good. Love the review! We need to try this when we go in November!

Hats look great on you! I wear a Disney hat every day.
Thanks!
Little know secret, you can sit in there to eat your quick service lunch before they open for dinner!
Wow! Thats a great tip!
Yes, I heard of this being a thing recently since they started opening up the restaurant later.
Would love to try this someday!
I think about those flautas everyday
Awesome review!!! What are your recommendations for Mexican in Orlando?
El Tenampa on 192 in Kissimmee is my favorite spot. I actually have a video up of it on my page
@@wrightdownmainstreet sweet thanks!! 😊
Thanks for your hard work. We love the videos

Will try next trip.
They did have a great watermelon with cherry tomato Marg at La Cava which was so good but they discontinued it. Hope it makes a comeback.

Luv that restaurant. 🤗 If not eating at Space 220, then La Hacienda is where you'll find me eating at EPCOT.

Hi Parker 👋! Jimica has the same crunch & texture of an apple 🍎. However, it tastes like an uncooked potatoes without the starchy taste.
Rosa Mexicano is another great Mexican restaurant on property. Give it a try next time!
We actually skipped La Hacienda this year during our visit but after seeing your review today, I’m definitely adding it back on for our next trip!! The food looks really good now!! And definitely love the hat 👍
I like the hat 🙂
My dream is eating with you at the parks hahaha
Maybe one day!
Not a bad meal last I checked.
🧡🧡

I would assume the guac probably has onions in it & not sure if you would be able to ask them to not add them.

Sci Fi & Prime Time have a great atmosphere for sure! It seems like the restaurants with great theming don't have the best food

We always dine inside but after seeing this video we're going to have to try the hacienda
Dine inside for the vibes, dine outside for good food!
By the way, it's called guacAMOLE 😊
Would love to see a Mexican themed Orlando Local Foodie Finds video!
I do have a video of my favorite local Mexican restaurant up on my page!
@@wrightdownmainstreet Awesome, thanks!
If you had to choose between Flying Fish and La Hacienda, which would you dine at? You've given both such great reviews!
Flying Fish no doubt
Hi! Do you edit videos yourself or have you hired someone? I’m an editor and would love to discuss it if you’re interested
You??????? WEARING A HAT??????????? never heard of this!! lol
LOL right! She kinda ate tho...
I’m a hat girl now! Just wait hahah
