Thank you , I have the same potty but it was hard to find a setup with a changing table that would work for me… going to put a pad on the floor I believe and something for my knees
Yes! Sometimes the hardest part is just getting down in the floor with them. Now that she's mobile (10 months), she will try to get up and walk away now when she's done so having the potty on the floor has been critical! We just use a folded up towel downstairs on the wood floor, and change her on the bath mat in the bathroom
Our cloth diapers are second hand, LBB brand. I bought them before our first was born and are still using them today three years later! When using disposables we typically use Kirkland from Costco. Highly recommend investing in cloth diapers though, they have lasted literally hundreds of washes 🙌
At the time this was filmed (7 months), I worked full time as a professional architect. My partner was also working full time outside the house, and we had an au pair for full time childcare for both children. We taught her how to use EC to recognize signals and offer the potty the same way we would, she was happy to learn and very supportive! She used diapers as a backup just like we did, and caught what she could just like we did. We chose an in home childcare option instead of daycare because not only did it make sense financially if you have more than one child, it provided a less stressful routine for everyone and gave us flexibility to have a provider that was actually willing to support our daughter with EC (and our son was also wrapping up potty training around that time too)
@@readyfrombirth that’s really great, thanks so much for sharing this. I’ll work on doing something similar. I have a 7 month old and I work from home but working on lining up some help
@the.architectmama yes if your child is sitting on the potty just gently massage his or her tummy while they try to poop 💩 bowel movement in the potty it will help them to poop 💩 bowel movement mote gentle and easier keep massaging your child's tummy while he or she goes poop 💩 bowel movement my job is a dr pediatrician
@the.architectmama my cousin taught me the tummy massage potty training method also u can give your child a full suppository glycerin to help them poop 💩 bowel movement 💩 if their poop 💩 bowel movement is hard and dry and nkg coming out
Haha I feel you on that! I find it much easier than cleaning poop squished up into every imaginable crevice 😂 It takes 1 wipe instead of 10 too... Our daughter started being able to sit on the toilet with a seat reducer around 8 months, but all the exposure she got in the previous months made that a really natural next step. Starting early makes everything so much easier!
This is so interesting, I have used cloth diapers with my son, and do EC and cloth diapers with my daughter now. I was ECed as a kid by my mom, she is pro :))
You are a very calm, efficient mother. Ada couldn't be sweeter.
Aww thanks! She's a sweetheart!
She's beautiful ❤😊
Love this well done mummy good job she's such a clever girl

What brands of diapers do you use?

What do you do on workdays?

Hi 👋 at what age did you start her at? I'm 32 weeks along with my LO and want to start right away 😊
We started EC with her at 5 weeks! You can start as early as YOU physically feel ready, they are born with the instinct!
Try the tummy massage potty training method
Hi! Thanks for the comment. I've never heard of tummy massage as a potty training method, although it can definitely help if things aren't moving!

I love the idea, I just don't want to clean shit out of a bucket. I'll probably wait until I can put a baby toilet seat right on the toilet.

I think I'd rather clean a bucket than trying to wipe it all out of the crevices on a baby
